England In India - October 2011/12

What's funnier is how non Indian/England fans have just started watching and posting...

Legendary FAIL!!!!

I always support England After Pakistan. It's good to see England Performing well and It's not that India playing pathetic(i doubt whether they\re playing or not) that's why i am following this series i actually Watch every Interesting series but India ruined The whole hype

I observed now even Star Cricket has stopped showing those crappy ads in which Some Indian fans were taking on an alone English fan and threating him with names of Some indian players

I don't understand RP's selection. At all. We have Munaf there for crying out loud.

India just gave up after the second test I feel.

Can't say how happy I'm for Graeme Swann, take that Indian fans! (referring to only the ones who questioned his ability & class) - this is what a turning pitch in England or anywhere in this world can do to the opposition when Swann bowls! Absolutely loved it!

I know, I could swear that Karan788889098765234567 and macintosh are both related to him. We can't afford another trundler and sure as hell can't afford another average batsman. Irfan is a bits and pieces player now. Imagine the Ishant of 2008 BG Trophy, a fit Zak and and the young Irfan. Would be a pretty good attack, I think. It's not as if it's been unattainable either but it's just been a combination of bad luck and mismanagement of players. Even the Munaf Patel from his debut would have been a great addition.

Jeez this is like minnow bashing, the difference between the two sides is ridiculous. One side making almost 600 the other 5 wickets down for a 100. Really you would think this is a battle between 1st and 8th with 8th being India not 1st and 2nd.

In England we did :p The return tour not so much, some pretty similar bashing going on. Looks like India will need an Argus review of their own!

So I hadn't been following this match too closely, but 2 things strike me:
1) Why did not Strauss declare in the first session? Is 550 not enough?? When Bell got out should have been the absolute latest IMHO, why bat til lunch (which ended up being tea)??
2) Why do you send in Jimmy Anderson at 3/450?? I wonder if that is one of the highest scores a nightwatchmen has ever been used at.

Neither will probably matter in the end, but they strike me as 2 pretty negative decisions.

I think they were probably just rubbing it in, if that makes sense plus I think its up to the batsman and Morgan for some reason didn't want to go out there..

Irfan can contribute better with the ball instead of that fat unfit RP Singh:facepalm
And Raina can't play on bowling pitches, I can bet Irfan would have scored more than Raina.
These two are waste,
Irfan and Aroon/Munaf could have been a much better option in place of those two idiots.

India bowlers are looking tired and down because of bowling a lot with no results, 5th bowler would give them more break and would decrease the load on them in tests.

I can read Tamil Nadu and CSK in your profile, hopeless to expect a true and unbiased post from you.

pfft, last time India were in Australia, Pathan opened both the batting and bowling. If you're going to use the forgotten superman argument, use its full potential!

Let's hope the Indians did their homework last night and looked up "resistance", "grit" and "fight" in a dictionary.

Poor fare indeed, if they want to be humiliated they are going about it exactly right. "Sharma to the slaughter" is how I'd describe their nightwatchman use, England's wasn't exactly inspirational and Morgan came in with no runs to his name instead of a few easy ones.

England will want to wrap the Indian innings up asap, tea at the absolute latest but I'm guessing Strauss will want them batting again before lunch. No question of not enforcing the follow on, if that isn't an option then I'd be very surprised and India will have done better than in any previous match in this series. My personal view is the Indians are paying for the 'success' of the IPL

Are you watching, Sehwag? That's how you play aggressively without making yourself look like a clown.

Sehwag has played 8 balls in this seies. In those 8 balls he has gotten out 3 times.
