Not as bad as England did in first ODI If i remember correctly, Indians clobbered them for 170 runs in last 16 overs

Finn has been a real positive. Considering he must be one of the best averaging test match bowlers to not get into their national team he has clearly worked really hard at his game this summer and now looks genuinely quick, and with much better control.

Got a lot of time for the "most boring man in cricket" and he's really impressed again today.

England are fighting back, or are India digging a grave for themselves here? Poor stuff from India.... With Rahane and Gambhir, it should have been pretty easy going. Now Dhoni has to fight it out there with Jadeja, Ashwin, Praveen and the likes. England have a chance to stay alive in the series. Hope Dhoni finishes the game off with Jadeja and the likes.

Good god, Kieswetter has had a mare of a game. Terrible performance behind the stumps. Made mistakes that no professional keeper should be making.

As for Dernbach, awful, awful bowling. He's looked terrible since his first few games. Batsman have figured him out. Just sit back and clout him.

Fair play India, they tried their hardest to make a game of it. Threw a couple of wickets away to give England a really good chance, but their death bowling was awful. What's the point in Dernbach? Kieswetter was so bad it was almost like someone had paid him haha

12 matches, an economy rate over 6 and an average of almost 40... Can't bowl two balls in the same place and falls apart mentally if people get on top of him.

Just shows how good an ODI side India are, and with the return of the senior ODI players like Sehwag, Yuvraj, Zaheer, India should become far more dangerous.

As far as ODI's go, quite keen to see the resumption of the CB series in Australia. That will be an awesome series. India vs Australia vs Sri Lanka. Top teams in great conditions! I am hoping India have Sehwag, Yuvraj and Sachin playing that series. We won it last time in 2008 under Dhoni.

And thank you for proving in England that India suck anywhere outside the sub-continent. I don't really care if England lose this series 5-0, because end of the day India got royally thrashed in England in the test series you know that format which is the pinnacle of the game, I don't even care that we beat you in the ODI series.

End of the day look at you Indian fans, the biggest trash talkers ever. Before arriving in England we were going to get thrashed and humiliated, when you were loosing you were hating on your team calling for Dhoni's and the rest of their heads, and now you're back in the subcontinent and winning again you start with the Dhoni love and trash talk. Worst! Fans! EVER!

Why would India be any better with those players in out of curiosity? I actually think India are doing so well in this series because of the young vibrant batting lineup that runs singles hard and puts pressure on the bowlers. The players you are missing are all at the end of their careers and are in no way guaranteed to play any better than what is essentially you're future Indian team. This is not a "second string" Indian team, it is your future.

Not to mention the vast improvement in the fielding...

England made only 45 runs off the last five overs without losing a single wicket. That coupled with a dreadful outing in the field pretty much cost them the game.

And just replace Kiesy with Bairstow behind the stumps already! Has never really been impressive with the gloves, Kieswetter. Got to give it up for Finny though, bowled his heart out and looked the only really committed player out there along with Swann. And as much as I hate to break this, Patel was really impressive.

you know i was watching a county 40 over final a month back, where english commentator were saying he is one of the best depth bowler in the WORLD.. :

Even Munaf Patel doesn't drop as many catches as Kieswetter..


Dhoni did it again.. He is the real champion..

Rahane played well.. Time to test some more youngsters now.

That's quite a good comparison, intellect wise at least. I think the average England football fan though expects to never win anything major though
