These two teams are incredibly erratic. Whoever ends up number 1 won't have it for a substantial long period of time. They lack the temperament Australia and West Indies had. Well I don't mind tbh It'll be interesting to see who peaks at the right time.
I'm tipping Cook, Trott, Morgan, Khan, Laxman and Gambhir to shine in this series. Disappointing ones: Tremlett, Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh and Pietersen. Yeah my 2 cents. Everyone else has an average series.

Hey I hear India struggle at Lords. It's a flat pitch though and it is difficult to bowl sides out. I wonder if the pitches in early to mid 2000s and the 90s were different (more seamer friendly). Any veteran out there who can enlighten me?
Btw Zoraxdoom I like your team. That's definitely solid. I wonder though... would it be beneficial for Laxman to bat at 3? He likes pacier bowlers (negates tremlett) and as awesome as dravid was I think Mukund and Dravid batting together would be a pretty dull and slow. Oh well.

Mods are never around . I agree with Broad being there instead of Bresnan...but Finn, damn am I his only fan

Broad picked over Bresnan. Bit of a shame, would have been an aggressive move to go for Bressy.

So Zak and PK (I think) will start up against Cook and Strauss shortly. Oh yea. Bring it on.
