England has the worst selector ever. Does he even look at domestic stats before selecting players? Half of the ODI team should be playing List A cricket instead of ODIs.

8. SCurran/Bethell/Mousley depending on conditions
9. Brydon Carse
10. Jofra Archer
11. Adil Rashid

Ideally I would like to experiment with Salt coming in with c. 20 overs to go, so both he and Livingstone would really be floaters

Similarly, I'd quite like to see Buttler given a crack at opening in ODIs just to see what happens

Then you're losing Salt's USP which is 126 strike rate as an opener and Buttler as all-time great England middle order player. I'd swap them, Livingstone or Bethell at 7.

Find four from Mahmood, Wood, Potts, Atkinson, Carse, Archer, Topley and Rashid. Carse, Rashid, Wood, Archer probably being my current four picks for the CT, although I don't know if they'll risk Wood playing a tournament no one is that bothered about.

Even though his record in the top 7 is rubbish I'd probably give Curran a go assuming Stokes will only show up for the big matches.
