Unable to recall such a weak English test side touring the WI. Kinda grown accustomed to poor WI test sides the last couple decades as well.

Thinking the ECB may have focused way too much on limited overs for gory for the English team over the last several years.

Still some talent present in both teams but its very painful to see the state of play from them.

449* in the second innings

I honestly can't think when I would last have seen something like "England - 217 for one"

And no matter my views on the merits of his original (and continued) selection, I am glad to see Zak Crawley in the runs again

It's the highest second wicket partnership since Jack Leach and Jason Roy put on 145 in 2019. I'd say that pitch had a lot more going on.

I'm fairly sure I said something to the tune of 'Zak Crawley looks like the only Pom opener who actually believes he's Test-calibre' after the Ashes. I'm also fairly sure I was not agreed with.

In the words of Industry Super Fund, 'It's not too late...'

I think he believes he's Test-calibre.

The first class and even test average suggest it's open for debate.

He's got the same number of centuries as Keaton Jennings and Dom Sibley.
