Watch the media over-exaggerate Rooney's red card just like they did when he last got one vs Montenegro in 2011, during that EURO 2012 qualifier.
Looks like he went to trip up Downing as he was about to break away, instead he ended up kicking him up high.

Definite red card however he did not mean to hurt Downing, he was just sacrificing himself for the team by going for a yellow card, but got it badly wrong.[DOUBLEPOST=1411889177][/DOUBLEPOST]
Off to the bridge today with my boy

On paper it looks an easy win, it's gonna be a tight match.

Solid performance today, had a great view just behind the dugout, seeing the match live really shows what an organised machine Jose has created.

Off the ball all the players keep position, so well drilled.

Once we went one up the result was never in doubt.

Also Willian, what a player the lad is, never gives the ball away and works as hard as anyone, unsung hero

Good read

It's obvious we are behind all the big domestic and European teams with our stadium

The only real solution is to move to a new stadium, Stamford bridge is just not capable of adding anymore capacity, when they rebuilt the shed it should have been the same size as the Matthew Harding stand at least.

A big ground is something which is essential to our long term plan to dominate European football

looks like we're making progress on the ground front, too.

It's a weird one, we don't really need much more capacity, but then about 15% of our seats are restricted views and we can't really know what crowds we'd get if they weren't, but we most likely wouldn't sell out 50k more than 3-4 times a season. But then the main issue is poor corporate facilities, that's the main reason we're pushing to move.

I prefer old fashioned grounds. I'm not overly keen on wembley or the emirates. I hope we don't go for a sleek ultra modern design. I think about west ham moving from upton park to an olympic stadium where you are about 30 yards from the pitch and feel a bit sad.

Seriously hope the Valdes deal happens in the next couple of weeks or when the international breaks are going on, Mignolet has been a major disappointment, his positioning is way off, seems like a worse goal keeper than he was last year. We aren't going to win any titles until our goal keeper make that one amazing save that makes you want to give it a huge around of applause. And I don't think Mignolet is capable of that (might sound harsh on this), but that's the truth.

Someone is copying exactly what Gary Neville said on Monday night football

You guys need a "Suarez" type of player...as simple as that.Mignolet defended b/w the sticks pretty well last season.Your attacking options have faltered.

I haven't exactly watched every Pool game this season, but from what I've seen, the struggles creatively is quite bizarre, they should be a lot better on that side of the field on just pure raw talent alone, so I'm merely putting it down to the team not gelling and ask that people give them time. Ofc pundits are already raising the question of how long we're going to give them the pass, but it's only the beginning of October ffs.

Anyways in other news Origi is just scoring for fun now, he just can't stop scoring! Can't wait to see him next season.

Ye pretty much. Chelsea the glamour london club to the world now & they have outgrown SB. They should at least have a stadium comparable to Emirates.

Never been inside twichenham, but for the outside, i guess it could work as temporary listening to what the writer said.
