How did we look under Neil Lennon? Any of our lot impress you?
Having heard positive things about you since Lennon took over, you were disappointing. Misplaced passes, caught in possession, passing straight out of play - Lennon was so fed up with it he threw the ball down in a temper. Having said that, the quality of football from both sides was poor. You won't do much, but you won't get relegated. Chung-Yong Lee has always had a bit about him and was the stand out for you.

Waiting for Rodgers to part ways with Liverpool.

Jk, but he's not making it easy for himself, is he? Shockingly clueless tactician, has abandoned his good old possession style of football and playing Hodgeball these days ffs..

And don't even get me started on him starting Balotelli upfront all alone, and playing Johnson as first choice RB, Gerrard at DM, Lovren as one of our CBs (20 mil :lol), etc

The win at WHL gave me false hopes for the reminder of the season. We'll be very lucky to finish 7th at this rate.

This season is just 12-13 all over again for us, barring Aguero, the team looks completely shot, bracing myself for a long season...

Emre Can has been the heart of our midfield in the last 3-4 games. Hope he keeps his consistent performances up for the whole season, and how we didn't bag a point in that game, I'll never understand refree. I think this by far has been one of our best preformances in this season if not the best.

If it's any conciliation for Liverpool and City

Arsenal look just as shite too.

I don't think we're in the same league as City (this season), or Arsenal (at this point). Realistically, it's going to be Chelsea, City, Arsenal, and Liverpool/United. But, this is largely dependent on keeping Sterling and Sturridge fit. I really don't think it matters who's at the back in this squad. Liverpool are going to leak goals.

I've been pleased with Coutinho's performances this season though. He was pretty shit last season apart from a few games (e.g. vs Arsenal at home), but he's got a real drive and spark this season.

On our game, awful, just awful. Chelsea hardly even played to their potential, but still looked far the better side. We looked mightily clueless and confused when Gerrard was pressed effectively by Oscar and Costa. Think Rodgers has Lovren's nudes, because I can't think of a solitary reason to start him over Kolo who arguably forced Ronaldo to submission midweek, and had him in his back pocket.

Coutinho looked completely out of sorts at the start of the season, but looks the real deal at the moment. To bench him on the hour mark citing "we weren't creating enough, hence I took him off" is the equivalent of suggesting "We weren't scoring enough hence I took Suarez off and put Lambert on."

Also think we might have hit the jackpot with Emre Can. Makes the rest of our midfielders look so ordinary. Really excited over how he pans out.

Worrying times for Brendan. Looks so out of depth tactically; abandoned his good old possession style of football to play Hodgeball these days; said we weren't doing a Spurs at the start of the season, only to fare significantly worse. Said he was looking to sign "quality, not quanity" earlier this summer, only to sign 9 fresh faces - 3 absolute frauds from Southampton. His post match quotes of late have made my eyes bleed as well. Like the decision to take Coutinho off, as cited above, and saying "we deserved a point for our attitude" against Real at the Bernabeu, etc..

We'll do well to finish 6th at this rate.

I think this by far has been one of our best preformances in this season if not the best.

I'd like some of the pot you're smoking mate :)

For me there are only one and a half title contenders... The half being City of course, they certainly aren't good enough to win the title but they will be the closest rival to Chelsea.

We look crap but Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham are doing the work for us so we'll finish top four. Manchester United are looking much better than these other three.

Southampton realistically could definitely steal a top four spot, maybe even third. The hallmark of any great team is the defence, and Southampton are top of the league in this department. They are very consistent because of this unlike all the other top four challengers other than Chelsea.

Got few quick counter attacks going, despite most ending in being offsides. Never had that issue last season.
Why we are trying to recall Origi when Lille are not going to agree to that I don't get. Get Ibe back, who knows might have that breakthrough to the first team like Sterling did, a really highly rated youngster coming up the ranks Ibe is and including Sinclair as well.

I hope the comeback of Sturridge will hopefully fix Liverpool and Mario Balotelli's season.
