Got more depth this time around. lol Murali and Mills were my overseas bowlers in the APL first season :p

Mills was very average for me here in the first two seasons. Season one 60.3 and 4.8, and season two 45.4 and 6.0 (average and E/R respectively).

Over two seasons:

Kyle Mills
- Matches: 9
- Over:88
- Maidens: 4
- Runs conceded: 468
- Wickets: 9
- Best figures: 2/51
- Average: 52.00
- Economy: 5.32
- Strike rate: 58.7
- 4/5: 0/0

He's certainly not rated poorly.

I expected him to have had more of an impact than he did here English conditions. In saying that I wouldn't call myself a fan of his, but over the last five years he'd be up there with the most underrated ODI bowlers. Although he is a bit of a minnow bully, so are guys like Malinga who gets a lot more credit than Mills.

Iri, Durston is a batting allrounder...

Infact Mills actually has both a better average and a better E/R than Malinga against the main eight teams.

Mills - 29.10 / 4.89
Malinga - 29.26 / 5.19

Others who I'd say are generally rated higher than Mills with the same criteria:

Gul - 29.20 / 5.35
Anderson - 30.68 / 5.15
Zaheer - 32.87 / 5.09

You get my point, I just thought the need to talk up a New Zealander before I go to bed. :p
