Re Ryan ten Doeschate, he's a good batsman, but his bowing in most leagues is incredibly overrated because of his great ODI bowling record where he's bashed up the minnows - look here. Included in that is an average of 45 and an E/R 6.9 against the test playing teams.

Also for Essex:

OD - 57 wickets @ 36, E/R 6.18 (3.4 overs a match)
FC - 143 wickets @ 35, E/R 4.02 (15 overs a match)

And you only have to look at the IPL where he's played 15 matches, but he's only bowled 4 overs. So effectively at the top level he plays as very much a batting all-rounder, it's only when he goes back to play for the Netherlands that his bowling becomes effective.

Thanks for outbidding me for Teno which helped me buy Samit,probably the #1 local AR judging by the base price.

I'd say they're about the same but RtD's stats have been inflated by playing minnows whilst Patel has been a solid performer in county cricket and has played much tougher international opposition. So Patel justified the higher base price.
