Errors when starting competitions??

Hi guys,

got the game on friday and have been playing offline v computer,
i have been getting System errors when trying to start a big bash comp and world cup odis it logs the application out??
anyone else getting this?
i have read there is a patch but how do i download this?
also i try and down the best teams but always says cricket academy isnt available??
please advise guys.

I have had the same issue when starting a 50 over comp. It also happens during my career mode when I get signed up to Gloucestershire (Domestic side).
