Also keep some points left over in case you want to transfer out some of your cheaper players for more expensive ones (e.g. what if Jelavic gets injured in his first match?).

Shouldn't matter too much as I've been reading most managers will be using their wildcard after this round.

Agger is maybe not the best choice, but he can score goals so is worth the risk. Still, Netherlands have one of the best attacks in the world (what other team has a guy with a goals to game ratio over 1 on the bench?). Portugal and Germany also have great attacks, so Denmark will be torn apart in defence.

Eriksen is being chased by many top clubs, mainly as a back up to primary targets. He has something to prove to be the primary target. I expect him to have a brilliant Euros. Almost selected him myself.

About Denmark being torn apart by Portugal: in the last 5 matches Denmark won 3, drew 1 and Portugal won one match.

Last three matches Portugal played two times 0-0 against Poland and Macedonia and lost 1-3 to Turkey. I am guessing Portugal will have difficulty again with Denmark.

I tried to get some upcoming players, but they are also expensive. A bit the same with the Polish Borussia Dortmund players.

Piszczek is pretty cheap.

Portugal has Ronaldo though. Unpredictable really on the bigger stage, he might get a hat-trick against Denmark or he might miss ten sitters.

Many players will be like that though, especially in the first round.

Germany will be low on confidence too due to Bayern's CL loss. Don't expect Mario Gomez and Schweinsteiger to get over it so easily.
