Thanks a lot for the link Andrew, was looking for that.
Haha, that "Mehtab Afsar" guy is the chairman or something in NCC now! :p
Let's hope we can do the same this time.
What are your prediction for tomorrows matches?

They are all fully eligible for the Norwegian side. Most are imigrants, but that doesn't automatically mean they failed in the country of their birth. Not a single player on their side has played any high-level cricket in the country of their birth.

It's 3 leagues, 30 registered teams, and many more unregistered teams. The 30 registered teams play with hardball.
There are a couple of Aussies/N'zealanders/Windians.
There is 1 team of these 3 nationalities.
There is 1 team of Sri Lankans.
And the Indians are mixed.
A team contains 1-2 Indians and rest Pakistani.
Pakistanis are a lot in Norway, and a couple of years ago all of them were Immigrants. But now, many many players nowadays are born in Norway (like me).
So we are getting many only norwegian passport players! :)
Also, some of the players have played at a higher level in Pakistan, but they didn't fail there. Also... I was supposed to say one more thing but don't remember that! :p

Anyway, I was at worked and my friend sent me SMS:

38 overs Norway were 152-2 and 50 overs 182-5 or something! :D
Great performance by everyone Zeeshan a great 89* he was on 40 a couple of overs back. Sammer Sachdev got a slow start as usual and good to see my teamate getting 50! :) Shahid was unlucky with 40, the Norwegian "Butt" got out before double-figoures as an opener! :p
And Zaheer Ashiq got 50 aswell before LBW plumb.
A great captains innings from Zeeshan.
Israel are 50-3 or something I really hope if you can get Isaac Massil out, the match is ours! :)

Oh yeah, any of you football fans heard of the norwegian team "V?lerenga".
It's quite funny it's come a cricket team now called V?lerenga.
Their captain is the only etnic Norwegian, he has played well latley and I think he will get a national team callup...
Even if he is not good enough I think he will get a call-up..
Also that team are most Pakistanis but a couple of Nzealanders and Australians so I have heard that they are a very good organised and good team to play with/at.
I am thinking of sending their captain and email and maybe start playing cricket there! :)

Some respect for Israel..
Let's hope some pictures and scorecard comes up soon! :)

Good bowling performance from Gibraltar but I wonder how well Germany will respond. I know very little about the teams involved but this thread has been a good read.

It would be good to meet Greece again we beat them last year in Division 3 at their own home soil, Andrew can you please find the scorecard for me? I think we made 300++ there! Also, It will be cool to play against Germany. Both big guns in Division 2 and will be looking for Division 1. Let's pray Norway win! :upray

The first Division Three tournament will be played next year. Last year it was known as the ECC Affiliates Championship. It was played in Belgium, and Norway did not play Greece in the tournament. They did play each other in the 2003 ECC Trophy in Austria, the details of which can be found here: http://www.cricketeurope.net/ECC/DATABASE/2003/TOURNAMENTS/ECCTROPHY/about.shtml

The protests that have followed the Israeli team at this tournament have meant that Israel's final two matches are being played at a military base, RAF Lossiemouth.

andrew: That is just sad! Not being the biggest fan of the Israeli politics nor the cricket team! I feel that this is sad! :( It is a very good article at ecc-cricket.com about this Israel case!
Hm, I just found out that in Division 1 they play with coloured kits! Oh how good would it bee if Norway won the Division 2 the day after tomorrow and we can play with coloured kits WHOA! :D
In Norway all domestic cricket is played with white kits! :(
