What do you think are your favourite shots that can be played or ball that can be bowled in game of cricket?

Fav Short:

On Drive straight pass the fast bowler.

Fav Bowl:

Inswinging reverse swing yorker.

Beacuse this the effect it has

Fave Shot:

The Michael Vaughan cover drive, the most stylish drive in the game imo, and a fantastic shot to watch when it is timed, as it often is with Vaughan.

Fave Delivery:

I'm with you, reverse-inswinger, be it yorker or normal length, my favourite ball of all time is the ball from Simon Jones to Michael Clarke in the 2005 ashes, Clarke left the ball on the line, but Jones got it to reverse swing in, through the gate, crash of ash. Reverse Swing is a fantastic discipline to watch, as is fast bowling in general. I love watching a really quick bowler bowl, someone like Tait, Lee or Akhtar.

KPs flamingo shot and Andersons yorkers which he doesn't bowl anymore.

Fav shot: When Tendulkar pierces the offside.

Fav bowl: Kumble's quicker one.

Has to be the slog sweep for me. Feels great when you connect.

For bowling I'd have to say the ball that turns sharply from middle and either catches the edge or hits off stump. Not one I manage to produce too often sadly...

Fav Shot- Pull or straight drive, or the Dhoni whip-shot.
Ball-Inswinging Yorker, or stock outswinger that catches the edge. For spinners, flighted, spinning away, stumped :)

Shot - Pull Shot or The Sweep,

Ball - Probably the Short one or Just back of a length

Shot- When the batsman dances down the pitch and hits the ball for a six.

Ball- Yorker, and a good slower ball. Somthing like curtly Ambrose had, one of those that starts as a stmp high full toss and dips as it gets closer to the stumps.

Shot - Forward defensive

Ball - leg spinner pitching outside leg stump to come in and bowl the right handed batsman around his legs.

Shot-Well for me, the straight, on, off and cover drive. Its natural for me and It's a really really good part of my game. When I was younger I had the best driving game around.

HOWEVER. My favourite is the square cut, because I could never play it that well. I was a really good batsman, and quite often I'd play good cut shots but I never really got the hang of the perfect square cut, so for that reason it's my favourite.

HOWEVER. For some people (gilly) it's just a natural shot that isn't very hard to pull off..

Ball- Any thing that clips the off stump. Brilliant, makes me cream big time. I LOVE IT.

I remember Fidel Edwards (the guy who does the windscreen wiper celebration?) bowling an off cutter. It pitched outside off stump, the batter went foward, played a perfect front foot defensive, cut in to him, clipped off stump on its way to the keeper. And he did the windscreen wiper, ah god I LOVE IT YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS OMGZ!

Favourite shot: Hook...
Favourite delivery: swinging delivery hitting the top of the stumps making it cartwheel off the wicket...
