[FC Final] Nov 2-5: Spin Wizards vs. Stump Smashers

The Johnnie Walker First Class Trophy final is upon us! Two very dominant teams during the season will be playing the final at The Castle from November 2nd-5th.

The Wizards have far and away been the best team in the tournament, racking up 8 wins in their 10 games to top the table. While their batsmen have been decent this season, with two batsmen in the top 10 run scorers this season--Choie at 5th with 844 runs and Gray at 10th with 801. Bowling has clearly been their forte, though, with manager The Spin and captain Viral Shah occupying the top 2 slots in the highest wicket-takers for the season with 49 wickets apiece. Binnu comes in 9th on that list with 37 wickets this season.

The Smashers bowling has been awesome this season, too, with Marky Mark and Zorax Doom coming in right after the Wizards bowlers with 46 and 41 wickets respectively this season. Andrew Peters is 8th on that list with 37 wickets. Their batting has been dominant as well, with Brendon Hedger second on the runscorers list with 1107 runs and 3 centuries to his credit. Pranav is 9th on that list with 818 runs.

Disappointed to see Hedger depart early, but Iridium and Simon have taken the charge since then. They are playing really well and will hopefully carry on doing so.
