Most of the PC : console gamer ratios are calculated on the basis of the sales made. That shouldn't be the case because a lot of PC gamer's copies are pirated.

Another reason why game developers tend to lean away from the Pc, and another reason why the ratio for console gamers are increasing. But since this is the Fifa 09 thread and not the Pc VS Console thread, I should stop there.

Anyhow, it's been quite a while since I last played a football video game (PES 6). So if Fifa 09 can impress me enough to bring me back to playing more footy (it would have to be the PC version, since it's the only gaming platform I have), that would be great.

ive had enough of bloody fifa 08. its too fudging slow. i tell my player to twat the thing first time and he just stands there like an arse and gets it taken off him. fifa 09 cant come soon enough.

Very true. The piracy rate is much higher on PC than on 360 or ps3, and as stevo said, not all computers are better than a ps3. I don't agree with the decision, but I doubt my pc could handle a next gen game anyway, it struggles with old gen fifa on high settings.

The game sounds like an awesome improvement, I'll wait to see what reviews it gets before considering it, but bloody hell I wish we had games like this for AFL!

Next gen doesn't only mean graphics. Next gen means better gameplay and AI process too. And I am sure most of your CPU is being laid waste without any AI to process. That's what I've been trying to say.

Also true, although I must be the dodgiest guy around because my PS3, like my PS2, is faulty and is being repaired as I type.

But the point is taken, computers break down and outdate much faster than consoles. They're inconsistent, whereas consoles are all built the same with a few exceptions.
