Lets just hope its not a big hoax like Century Stick. It has potential but then its EA we're talking about.Good
I wonder how the keyboard and mouse will be used in the PC version, it could be good if they use it well, I remember FIFA 98 had the ability to use just the mouse to play the game, but all you could do was jog (move the mouse in a direction), short pass (left mouse button), long pass (middle mouse button) and shots (right mouse button)

Quick thinking:The players are smarter this time around and will react to the situations you'd hope they would. You can also change the way the approach the game with the new customizable formations feature which EA believe is ground breaking.
Fresh shirts: As you'd expect from any sequel, the graphics have been improved. New light and shading techniques are used to make it look authentic. The player models really do look superb.
Thighs: There's much more urgency to the off the ball running allowing you to make quick incisive breaks when one-twos are executed correctly. Basically the better the run, the easy it is to play a dangerous pass.
Feet: The dribbling has been made much sharper especially for the players blessed with silky skills, this helps stars like Ronaldinho stand out from the pack - not just because he's got funny teeth, but because he's sharper than the others.
One Touch: Players now have to take less touches when receiving the ball to get it under control. This means they feel more like the highly skilled athletes they are in real life and the action flows much quicker.
Brittle and Barge: Too often in EURO 08 it was always the defender stepping in to challenge for the ball that won the shoulder to shoulder confrontations. This will all change in FIFA as much will depend on the power of the two competing players, with the stronger one getting the edge. This means you'll be able to use Drogba like the man-shaped battering ram he is in real life, but it doesn't mean the bigger players will be the all conquering monsters as the smaller, nippier players can pull out of the physical challenge and get around the stronger player to steal the ball.
EA Prove they have the big game mentality: Rooney corress's the ball on his in step, swivels to his right and slips the ball to tevez immediately after releases the ball the chunky scouser points into the space he wants the ball returned and pumps his legs like the pistons on a locomotive train to burn away from his marker. Tevez rolls the ball into the stride of rooney who uses his power and low centre of gravity to protect the ball from a recoving defender, approaches the bi-line and slips in a thigh high ball into the box toward ronaldo, the delivery is just behind the winger but he adjusts his position and shapes his body to hook the ball first time into the roof of the net, the crowd go wild a grin appears on his face that u just want to smack off with a wet flannel and we have just witnessed the new and improved encouragingly good FIFA 09.
You might have scored similiar goals in FIFA 08 but not with such power and precision and thats due to the 250 key improvements EA have made to there football game, while we cant account for all of them here are some that make the above goal possible. Improved responsiveness that allows for quicker realese of the ball, greater urgency that allows for off the ball running, a new jossle system that takes into account the strength of the players when going shoulder to shoulder and subtle animations that enable players to take first time shots, all important but all just part of a system that make FIFA 09 feel like a vast improvement on last years take on the beautiful game.
Footballing Game: EA are particulary proud of FIFA 09's custom tactics that go way beyond deciding whether u want to play a back 3 or 4 it concerns 3 areas defence attacking build up and chance creation with the emphasis on players reacting realistically in accordance with the chosen tactic, for example u could play the long ball game select crouch and lump the ball at him but the tactic will only work if the midfeild with other attackers anticipate the knockdowns and the second balls which as much to do with the AI of the player as it is to do with there positions on the feild. The same applies to the short passing game as it relies on the players making smart off the ball runs as it gives the player in possesion options to pass to, the idea is that u customize 4 tactics assign them to different buttons on the D-pad so u can switch between them in the match and the result is a game that continually changes in pace and tempo depending on the score and situation.
How does it play: It plays like a evolution of EURO 08 so the fantastic team shape and player movement is there as sis the realability of passing and the increase in overall speed from FIFA 08, the action is now even quicker as the players dont have to trap the ball and get it down to move it along accurately and with the agressive off the ball running u can create some dynamic passing moves, the players really feel solid now.
Best bit so far: Its got to be the animations for the overall running as the players sprint into space pointing where they want the ball played, its a great indicator of where to play the pass and emphasis, the urgency of the run. Its great for constructing the play

They are not from PSM3 they're from GM.
The graphics in the PC version of FIFA are really crap, even with AA and AF though
