The goalkeeper thing is a bug, yes. Alan Smith once moaned about Tim Howard when he made ten saves and still had clean sheets. That's the height of it.

Maybe the problem with the commentary in CM is just PC?

Anyway. Guess what? I offered Anderson a fat new contract and now he's going to stay! What an unbelievably realistic game! The CM piped up about the wranglings, let's see if they pick up on the fact he's going to stay now.

Scotland so far:

Assuming you're using 4-2-3-1, surely Tevez, Aguero and Balotelli is enough? Plus you can bring in Guidetti if needed too. I see just one striker spot there, as Silva, Gotze and Nasri can easily play behind the striker.

City definitely have too much money. Hell, I reckon Arsenal has too much money. Especially if you sell half your team like I do.

You should go on strict board difficulty so that you only get 60% of transfer fees added to your budget.

I did a couple of seasons of Dortmund just before FIFA 13 came out, really fun team. I actually felt they had a lot of money too. I had a really good team which is hardly something you can build with a small budget. I was on legendary board difficulty too.

It's quite easy to get a lot of money if you have some good players as usually Man City will come in and offer ridiculous amounts for your players. I got offered something like 50 m for Hummels from them and got offered something like 60 m for Gotze from Bayern, but he rejected.

Plus now they've got Reus instead of Kagawa who is much better. He's pretty much the best player in the league lol in FIFA. Gundogan is also rightfully a beast now.

I'd go with a team notorious for having a small budget with strict board difficulty if you really want a challenge, say Swansea or something.

Guidetti is actually on loan atm(at the start of the season I just looked at young player potential and just about sent everyone on loan), you're right though, don't really need another striker, but then again, there isn't much you can do with this squad in terms of improvement.

Dortmund, idk, it just looks a really fun team to play with. I tell you what, I'm just gonna start a career with them and if it gets boring, well too bad, there's always a mid-table premier league side waiting for my signature.

Manchester City must be getting fed up with me and my Norwich team. In the league at Carrow Road (or Ivy Lane if you insist!) I was 2-0 down inside 14 minutes by scored in stoppage time to steal it 3-2.

Now, I've won the League Cup at Wembley by beating Man City. I was 1-0 down with 5 minutes to go and managed to equalise through Alex Tettey. The game goes into extra time and in the second period Tettey scores again. I win 2-1 after extra time and win the League Cup - also booking my place in the Europa League for next season!

I'm enjoying it, but the guys at FIFA Soccer Blog - The independent source for up to date news on the FIFA series are noticing huge bugs in the career mode.

Arsenal have been 'that' team for me, they were up 2-0 twice in the league and I dicked them both times. League cup though was a little different, I thrashed them 6-1.

Looks like this won't be the case, they either want ?21m cash or ?14.5m + Weidenfeller. :|

So I've gone ahead and did a swap deal for Schurrle, ?8.5m + that Kevin guy . They originally asked for ?13.1m + that Kevin guy and me being the cheapskate I am, I offered +3m(I originally offered ?5.5m + that Kevin guy) and they accepted!

Not sure how you can play in Euros, I can't think about football properly in Euros or Dollars, as to be Pounds for me.

I myself think after I do my Arsenal career for a few seasons (which I still haven't started), I'll get onto either Napoli or Atletico and will look to make a Falcao-Cavani partnership.

I know, that's why I went for him in the first place, but then I had a look at the bench and that Kevin guy looked a real weak link so I figured a spare winger was more in need than say a keeper and tbf to Weidenfeller, he's been pretty good so far, 4 clean sheets in 5 games.

An Atletico or Napoli career could be really fun, there's a nice mix of good players you can keep and bad players you can get rid off, fun written all over it.

Summer transfer window just came to an end and the pop-up to follow was "Epic: In Demand" and guess who's supposedly after me? France, yes, flippin' France, oooh yeaaa.

And IIRC, in my Man City play through the same pop-up came up with the nation being Cameroon, but the promising thing here is I got an offer from them sometime pre-January.

Does your nationality influence your international offers?

Just completed the deal of the century surely. I got Yanga-Mbiwa for 1.5 m with Sebastien Squillaci going the other way. He's worth 7 m. So basically I got rid of a guy that we would have to pay to get rid of in real life, and brought in one of the best young defenders in the world. For nothing. He's also earning lower wages here than at Montpellier.

Looks like I'll be tearing this Arsenal squad apart, almost every player will be changed. Already have Alaba and Yanga-Mbiwa.

Transfer fees seem way too small, no way anyone would get Alaba for under 10 m like I did and Falcao for 30 m is crazy, he went for more than that to Atletico.

Does your nationality influence your international offers?

I think so - if you want to manage England for example, doing well with a Premiership team is a good place to start.
