Yes, and because no generated player has a face, the game gets filled with black silhouettes - EA should include something for their face, even if it's just a shot from them on the pitch! Those black silhouettes make the game look unfinished.

Or find out whether Fifa players wouldn't mind their Gamefaces being used? I wouldn't mind for one - my Gameface looks great on the site but in game it looks nothing like me. Anything's better than what we have now.

I played Fifa 13 assisted today - had a few mates round who didn't want to use manual. God, I hated it. Feels like an entirely different game: way too fast, nowhere near as much control over things like passing direction, power etc and of course, tons of ping-pong passing as well as endless skill nonsense. I would go so far as to say that I wouldn't buy Fifa at all if it didn't have a manual control option.

The other day for a laugh I made every player superhuman with the sliders, including the opposition, and what did I get?

Real Madrid Castilla is most probably their youth team if I'm not wrong. Too lazy to check Wikipedia...

Oh yeah it is the reserve team of Real Madrid , they beat me in the Spanish cup !

In real life the reserve teams are ineligible for promotion(meaning they can't get into La Liga) and can't participate in the Copa del Rey, guess it must be different in-game...

I beat Real Madrid 4-0 , but loss to their reserve team 4-1 .

but if not, it appears that Fifa 14 will be releasing on the new machines. So come October, we should know whether or not EA are going to feed PC gamers recycled Fifa 13 PS3 for six years - if the PC version is the same as the PS3 version, that's precisely what will happen.

I've got a bad feeling about this.

Which makes the fact that we had recycled Fifa 04 for six years all the more baffling: surely the PS3 version of Fifa also started life on a PC?

I'm by no means a PC gamer, but if I'm right what you're basically saying is they've been doing a bad job with the port? Well, if that's the case, that should no longer be a problem, because the Playstation 4 is supposed to have PC-like architecture...

Basically, what happened was PC Fifa was frozen in time from Fifa 04/05 until Fifa 11, when we were finally given the PS3 engine; next was Fifa 12 which gave us exactly the same game as the consoles and Fifa 13 followed suit. Since Fifa 11, I've had no complaints with the Fifa PC ports at all.

In the interim years, Fifa PC was basically Fifa PS2 - which resulted in myself and doubtless thousands of others playing PES until Fifa 11. Naturally, we want to avoid a repeat of that at all costs.
