FOOTBALL Fifa 13 PC and Consoles

^What is Hazard doing at CM!? Why even buy him in the first place when you have Bale, and sell Rooney to bank the transfer?

I'll give you a tip. Spend your transfer budget sensibly, no matter how much it is. Negotiate with the clubs to acquire the players at the lowest price possible. And instead of buying famous, star players with high overalls, check out the individual ratings and how they will affect the player's performance in the position you'll play him. Seeing them, get mid-ranked, yet useful, players who are young and will grow a lot.

So let me tell you then , all the players are growing including Vidal , Alba has grown to 85 now and Pique and Fabregas are grown to 90 , Sanchez to 91 and even Bale and Messi 95 . I wonder why isn't Lahm growing ? can anybody tell me the reason ? :spy He is playing as RB .

Lahm is 29. He's at his peak.

Nope mate , I desperately needed one CAM , so Hazard was the only good choice , and unfortunately it was the transfer deadline day , so I had to ....

Much more fun on manual. Had a really close title race. Tottenham ran me ragged for the last 28 games of the season after I thought I was going to win it with ease at the beginning of the season. The title literally changed hands for 28 consecutive games, until the last game when I actually got to play Tottenham (and won).

I've changed to 4-2-1-3 from 4-3-3 because I let goals in for fun. I really can't defend.

And finally , Lahm has grown to 88 .

Bale has grown to 92 now and is showing great signs of fatigue .

I wouldn't dream of playing Fifa with anything but manual now - that's one of the many reasons I can't be bothered with online: most people insist (ahahahaha) on assisted.

Have you guys noticed that the penalty meter offline is stupidly slow? It's far too easy to score penalties - is there a way to speed the thing up a bit? Right now, penalties are no challenge at all.

I think the manual mode in FIFA is really poor tbh. PES' sensitivity is much better (e.g. power of a through pass). I can't really do what I want to do on FIFA, and that's not because of my ability.

It was poor in Fifa 12 - Fifa 13's much better.

Ummm... I thought you said that Fifa's manual system is really poor? Bit contradictory, no?

Well yea, compared to the assisted mode on FIFA, it's good fun. It is an improvement on FIFA 12's manual mode as well, but compared to PES' manual mode, it's quite poor.

Could this get any closer for promotion to the Premiership??

Leeds (me) 90, WBA and Southampton both on 89. Two games left, one of which is against The Saints! This is heading for a last day finish - it'll be cool if the commentary is ramped up accordingly. Will find out soon enough. :)

Back to it. ;)

Well, that was disappointing to say the least! WBA drew their game and Leeds beat Southampton so that's the title secured for Leeds. Not a bloody word about that from the commentators...

That was... rubbish. Sure, the commentators mentioned the league win, saying that the crowd were chanting 'Champions' (which of course they weren't), but then nothing! Blackburn won the last game, there was lots of footage of them shaking each other's hands but not a sign of the Npower Championship trophy.

Disappointing or what??

Gonna have to shape the team up if it's to stand an earthly in the Premiership, that's for sure. ;)
