I'll get it cause I skipped 13 and this will probably be the last one made specifically for the xbox 360/PS3 gen consoles. but none of the stuff they need to do is in, it's criminal the career mode is so rubbish.
Wasn't this engine introduced in Fifa 11?
It was on PC, for consoles it was FIFA 07.Wasn't this engine introduced in Fifa 11?

Well the engine does seem quite malleable judging by all that they've managed to add since 07, such as 360 degree dribbling, manual passing, impact engine, fluid animations etc but the backbone of the game - how the matches play out tactically and the action in and around the box is a very flat, dull experience. That's been my major gripe with the series and EA don't seem to be addressing that.In other words, it's ancient and in desperate need of a replacement, but it doesn't look like Fifa gaming tech. is moving on this year so expect the game to look exactly the same as last year. And the year before that....and the year before that.

The visuals aren't great either - the player models, colour palette and lighting are a bit strange. I'll give the demo a shot, but I remain doubtful. PES seems quite promising this year with them using a new engine for the first time probably since PES3...
