FOOTBALL Fifa 15/16

I think the halves are 4 minutes actually, they didn't seem as ridiculously short as in other FIFA demos I've played. The teams are Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, Barcelona. PSG, Napoli, Dortmund and Boca Juniors.

You can also play an Ultimate Team game but I'm not sure what the teams are there.

It's quite a good demo - hopefully there will be a time extender thing soon so I can stick it on 10 minute halves :).

Overall, I'm very happy with it - it seems more realistic, I like the dynamic presentation, the graphics are amazing and the sound is excellent. It's good that you can finally launch a crunching tackle at the AI and actually connect; seemed with the previous generation of games, it would often seem to miss the player for no obvious reason.

Couple of things:

When the AI takes the ball into the corner, it's almost impossible to get the ball off them; I think that needs to be toned down. And secondly, I hope that's not the game's final Premiership winning cutscene that EA have put on show in the demo! Bit of a weird decision to include that in the demo if it is the final scene.

No real performance issues on my PC.

Enjoyed playing it. I somehow felt like I was playing PES14 for a moment but that was gone when Hart made a brilliant save. Looks like Ea put everything they had in improving the goalkeepers, the save sound is perfect as well. However, some of the players' body seemed a bit unrealistic. The new emotions are very well executed and crowd support seems much better. Tackling was indeed quite hard but after the half time, it was pretty easy.

Didn't experience any performance issue on my PC as well.

I have a problem some players have complained about. I can get through the Liverpool v Man City game no problem, but then every game after that is a juddery, unplayable mess. It's quite annoying.

EA have gone nuts!

Sad to hear that the ignite engine will only be for the PC, PS4 and Xbox one version and not for PS3 and Xbox 360. :(

Definitely I will download it now and will add one video of gameplay soon but my pc sucks but I hope it works well (even in low settings). :D

The older machines simply wouldn't be able to handle the new engine - that's a fact of being a console gamer: you have to upgrade once in a while just like a PC gamer, only it's always a £300-£400 upgrade whereas PC Gamers can upgrade only the components that need it.

Hmmm. They still haven't quite nailed the offside goals the way PES does, have they? The commentator reacts appropriately, as do the players but the crowd don't cheer so you still immediately know that the goal was offside.

City just scored making it 2-1 to Liverpool with about ten minutes to go, but instead of racing to grab the ball for the restart, the scorer races towards the centre circle(?) to celebrate...

Just heard a Man Utd chant in a City v Liverpool game...come on EA, sort it out. That chant has been heard out of context for years now...

Fifa 15 will definitely work perfectly on my PC but the problem is that I won't get used to it. Well, I guess I'll have to get it for my PS3 and play with the same engine once again. Will look forward to buy a PS4 probably next summer.
