What convinced me was an absolutely glorious manual 70 yard diagonal long pass from Alves to Neymar... The animation and ball physics were just complete perfection. I am seriously impressed by the ball physics this year, they are superb.

Well having heard you say how rubbish Fifa is ever since the 06 version I think EA can finally claim they've nailed it if they've got you on board.

I've been impressed by the demo. The juddering issue I was having on the PS4 can be sorted by signing out of the PSN while playing it. There are little touches to this version that make it much better than the old - things like being able to call a player towards you at a goal kick or push the team up the field from them, so all your goal kicks don't just get headed back towards the goal. Fifa 14 also suffered from too many blocks - you'd carefully pass or dribble your way up field, get into a shooting position, only to have it blocked. They've turned the blocks down this year which is good.

Last night I turned the difficulty up to Legendary and had the following results. The team with an * next to it is the one I was playing as:

Liverpool 0-1 Borussia Dortmund*
Chelsea* 0-1 Manchester City
PSG* 0-0 Barcelona (5-6 pens)

And while I'm aware @Madman will slaughter me for being taken away by licenses and such, I think it will really add to the career mode if you're in the Premier League knowing that all 20 Premier League grounds are in the game. If you have an away game at Burnley it won't be at some generic ground, you'll actually have to go and play at Turf Moor. And I think that's great.

All 20 Premier League grounds are in the game?! That is awesome!

I'm normally not fussed by the licenses as it's always tended to just be the emblems, kits and names that it affected, which were easily modded into PES in an equal or higher quality, but the lengths EA have gone to this year in the overall presentation and content, as well as the crowd chants, particularly for the Premier League is just fantastic and I am also blown away by it.

That level of detail obviously won't be maintained throughout the lower leagues, but hopefully there is at least a bit of variety in the grounds for the lower leagues.

I used to hate the FIFA gameplay because you would just learn the main two or three most effective ways to score, and every single game would just feel like a rinse & repeat, but now the gameplay feels much more emergent and dynamic with much greater variety all over the pitch, and the quality of the ball physics just makes spraying those long passes around an absolute joy.

I highly recommend people to put the long balls on manual - it lets you to aim them into space where on assisted it tends to just aim it directly at the player. It allows you to try stuff like this once you get quite good at it;

Here are some screenshots of what the grounds look like in the game:

And the aforementioned Turf Moor:

That is incredible... Brilliant addition.

Hopefully in the years to come they can expand this further to the top tiers of the other big leagues, and eventually down into the depths of the lower leagues. Perhaps by the time FIFA 20 comes around, The Ricoh will be in FIFA, provided Coventry are still in the Football League! :p

Think how I feel - had it not been for a miraculous Sunderland escape last season then Carrow Road would be in FIFA 15!

What I hope they do is, next year, make the three stadiums of the teams that get promoted to the Premier League but also keep the ones for those who go down. Provided nothing strange happens like all three relegated sides go back up, the Championship will get 2 or 3 new stadiums every season.

Yeah - all the work on the 3D models for the stadiums would already be done so it would make sense for them still be available, unless their license with the EPL prevents them from doing this then they should remain in future versions. EA are normally well on top of things when it comes to licenses though so hopefully this won't be a problem.

Maybe they'll get the Championship licence as well - after all it's up for grabs isn't it? Just imagine... all four leagues with their own ground, and club specific chants.

The Championship is already licensed, it's just I think if they spent time doing 24 stadiums for a second tier league then fans of the Spanish, German and Italian leagues would have a pretty good cause for complaint.

Thanks for the suggestions, but yes I have already tried those things as well as loads of fiddling around in the Nvidia control panel etc to try to fix it, but no success yet .
That's sad taking in the fact how much you've spent on the system. I hope it gets fixed in the full release. :)

Ehhh... I'm feeling selfish he he ;)

Pes is going to release a demo some one tell them to fearsome tweak off !

Thanks... I've been in contact with their Live Chat support who were quite helpful and seemed genuinely dedicated to finding a solution.

I hate all the micro transaction BS that EA do like selling FUT packs, The Sims content etc but fair play to them, their refund policies and customer support on Origin have been first rate, and they seem to have made plenty of genuine improvements to FIFA this year. Perhaps they aren't still the complete scumbags they were in the PS2 generation :p.

The game is still quite playable even with the stutters, and I've loved this demo, but it is irritating, especially if you're trying to time a tackle or something.

Ha. They lost me after screwing PC gamers over last year by not releasing a demo until well after the game itself was out. PES' future looks very bleak to me now.

Unless they improve the best thing in PES (BE A LEGEND MODE !!!) they are done and dusted
