FOOTBALL Fifa 15/16

I just scored a 35 yard goal with Messi, it was a well timed finesse shot and the keeper didn't move at all. Dribbling is a lot easier to do.

As well as modding the highlights music, I also hope it's easy to modify the soundtrack to use your own music and add to the number of tracks. I always tend to dislike and/or get fed up with the repetition of the tracks after a week or two...

The presentation of the EPL matches looks great, but I'm sure modders will work on CL/Sky/MOTD etc overlays as well. Hopefully it will be possible to have the Champions League modded quite authentically in Career mode. That's one great license Konami have, and I don't think they make the most of it really.

I contacted the cdkeys.com support to ask if it would be possible to get the Origin key a bit earlier so I could preload the game (my download speed sucks), but it seems that it will be released on the 26th or slightly before. Can't wait :).

Edit - The official league & clubs list was released earlier;

FIFA 15 - Complete Leagues and Clubs Listing

No real surprises - nice amount of content there except for the small selection of international sides... Most of them unlicensed as well.

No Costa Rica after the World Cup they just had? :( Loads of World Cup sides not there... Japan, Iran, Honduras, Algeria, Nigeria, Ghana and Bosnia are all absent and there's probably plenty more I haven't thought of. FIFA is more focussed on club football but this is still quite poor.

On PC at least, I am sure there's a way to fill your Fifa 15 with music straight from your Media Player. :) Didn't EA get the Champions League back? I am sure I heard somewhere that they did - or maybe that's for next year. Now they have a football game to match, it would be great to get the CL/EL back from Konami!

Just preordered. :) £24.99 from SimplyCDKeys and 2.02% cashback from TopCashBack. Lovely jubbly! :D

I haven't heard anything about the CL license - in truth I had almost completely avoided all of the news/PR/hype surrounding FIFA/PES this year and I didn't think I'd really want a football game at all, but this FIFA demo has got me hooked. EA used to always make a seperate game out of it when they had the CL license though, so it may not be great news for FIFA if they got the license.

Would be nice if you could import your own music - it's always possible to just have your own music player in the background and trigger it with hotkeys, but it's more convenient to just dump the files into a folder and just have the game play them when it would usually trigger its own music to play.

That's a great price - both of us got it for pretty much half the direct Origin price :).

Unfortunately today's new Nvidia drivers didn't solve my stuttering issue... Really hope this is fixed by the full release :(.

I hope they give us (Old gen) the same barclays premier league overlay which they have given to new gen. I know they are missing in demo for old gen but in features thread, its written :(

A neat passage of play on manual I just had;

A couple of backheels, a couple of switches of play, a lovely little outside of the foot dink into the middle and a realistic looking save with the feet :).

Nice - some really great football there! Shows what this game is capable of. :)

Thanks, yeah you can really be creative going forward in this game - FIFA always suffered from being quite one-dimensional and forcing you into certain patterns of play, but this time it's much more organic.

I don't usually play the single player modes in football games, but I'm hoping to get into a Career mode with Coventry and I'll probably play an EPL season with someone due to the great presentation and all the stadiums, will be someone like Swansea, Southampton or Everton I think - not sure yet :).

Apparently people who have preloaded the game on Origin can now unlock and play it by using a South Korean VPN as the release was at 4PM today for them. In the UK we have to wait until Friday :(.

Yeah i'll be doing something similar. Start off with Bolton and then after a few seasons jump ship to one of the premier league teams.

I'm hoping to get it Thursday...because [HASHTAG]#ShopTo[/HASHTAG] :p

Trouble is, shopto are charging almost £40 for the PC version preorder. Myself and Madman paid around £26; I believe it's worth waiting an extra day to save that amount of money. :D

I hope the quality of the game shines through in the lower leagues as well - it would be good to see lower quality pitches for example.

I'm getting this on PS4 (Just came through today. The console that is, not the game) :)

If you (or anyone else!) is keen for non-rares, check out my account. I always keep 10+ non-rare teams for the duration of FIFA for when I get bored of rare golds and silvers and always have a lot of enjoyment with them. This time around I have 20, so take a look and you may like one of them ;) . The ones with stupid names like "Ligue BBVA Bundesliga" or "RuPL BBVA Sagres" are the non-rare ones.

For your team Hunt is really good but I'd recommend giving Raffael a try instead of him, also Anderson instead of Zambrano,
Nice work, I'll take a look!

Raffael and Anderson do sound like good swaps... Anderson has a height advantage over Zambrano but they're very similar otherwise, but Raffael looks like a way better choice than Hunt for CAM. Better on the ball with 4/4 skills/WF. These players should be cheap enough to try them all out without breaking the bank.

I guess pace/strength will be very important as it usually is in FUT. Centre backs without at least 70 pace tend to be a complete liability online, on FUT14 anyway.

Height seems quite important what with how overpowered heading is. Unlike in real life, it's all height and jumping plays next to no role. Good luck scoring a header with Falcao for example!

I feel if you know how to play in UT you'll do fine with CBs well below even 60 pace. Some of my favourite defenders have not more than 60, and having slower players somewhat means you are forced to go for a less aggressive defensive style which, depending on your playstyle, can be useful.

I know you are probably quite experienced, but another tip for UT which no-one seems to do, use two squads. This is so that you don't have to waste money on fitness cards and get more variety in your play. It is from this that I eventually got to building 20 non-rare teams :P .

But yeah, that's the beauty of non-rares. You can literally try out every single Bundesliga non-rare for very cheap.

Well, one of my housemates at uni last year was absolutely fanatical about FIFA and showed me a lot of how to play FUT... We used to play co-op and had Serie A and Colombia teams we switched between - the Colombia team was pure pace abuse and the Serie A side had more technical players in it like Cassano and Totti (but also with Ibarbo haha).

I am dead set on never buying any packs with real money, so it'll probably take a little while to build the teams, but that can be done in the offline modes. No way I'm going straight online with a bronze team to just get torn a new arsehole by people who paid for the Ultimate Team edition.

Most of my play of the game will likely be in other modes to be honest, as I much prefer using manual controls and there's no filter for that in FUT like there is in Seasons and I'm hoping I can get into a career mode this time around.

Anyone remember this guy?

He was the wonderkid to end all wonderkids in Football Manager 2007 with a wand of a left foot, nice to see he's still around.
