Firefox 4.0 Beta 1 Released

Mozilla released the Firefox 4 Beta 1 today. You can download and install it from the following location:

It installs separately from Firefox 3.x. I don't think you can run both firefox.exe's a the same time, though.

Initial thoughts are that it looks almost identical to Chrome and that it seems a lot faster. This may be related to all add-ons not yet being supported. Time will tell...

I would have said it more likes Opera than Chrome...

There'll probably be speed tests done by sites but I would still stick with Chrome I think

I am kind of getting put off by FireFox as it is using every ounce of energy left in my old laptop.

Still wont go back to Chrome.

Why are all of them following the same look? Chrome / Opera, and now FF! I liked the old FF look.

I got this last week, looks pretty good so far. Will take some time getting use to the history tab on the right side.

The beta really screws up on my computer. I think it's partly because of the addons I have installed in my other version.

Just downloaded it. Will test and see whether its good as Chrome or not.

Bounce added 7 Minutes and 18 Seconds later...

Looks pretty good. But I don't think that I will use any other browser after Chrome.
Google Chrome looks the best to me.

After putting the menubar back and getting the tabs back in their rightful spot, it seems pretty good. Missing some of my incompatible addons, but that's not the fault of Firefox (though a force button for them would be nice, most work fine).
