Cheteshwar Pujara was once again the pillar in the Abbottabad lineup as he made 91 valuable runs. But some quick wickets from Angelo Mathews sent back Cheteshwar Pujara, Steven Smith and Ben Stokes. After that, it was the chance of Naman Ojha to shine. He made 66 runs, but couldn't lead his team to the victory. Mohammad Shami took 3 valuable wickets. AB de Villiers was adjudged the man of the match for his 1st innings century.
Great win. We performed really well. Especially ABD's performance in 1st innings was very critical. And can you tag the relevant members when our matches are posted ?

The Abbottabad batting lineup batted superbly on this demon track. Kaushal Silva proved that the team was not too dependent on Steve Smith and Misbah as he scored 76 runs. But it did not stop Misbah ul Haq from top scoring in the innings with 86 runs.
Adil Rashid and Josh Hazlewood took 4 wickets each and were the main reasons which stopped the Falcons' to 310.

But their often under-estimated wicket keeper, Denesh Ramdin, stayed calm and composed and finished the match with 1 wicket to spare.

Flat pitches are a heaven for batsmen and nightmare for bowlers (especially spinners). Hard pitches are beneficial for faster bowlers who hit the deck hard. Batsmen who can play the short ball well are also benefitted. Sporting pitches are a complete average of all the pitch types. Dusty pitches are good for batsmen who can play spin well as well as for spinners who can turn the ball well. Green pitches are a fast bowler's heaven. Great swing and seam is available to the pacers. Dry pitches are rank turners and are a batsman's nightmare. All spinners work well here.
