My observations and queries based on the video...
1. Good length still seems to be on the fuller side. To all the actual good length deliveries (3/4th length of the pitch) the batsman played off the back foot.
2. Too many lofted drives off the back foot. We are in for another game where most productive shots are lofted back-foot drives
3. Stumps actually are uprooted when batsman is bowled by a fast bowler.
4. Boundary hitting seems to be as easy as in AC09 which will result in non-competitive offline games.
5. No changes to Test matches as the focus seems to be on odis and T20s. Makes me a little apprehensive about test match bugs, especially AI middle order going bonkers after the fall of 2nd wicket.
Questions/Queries...
1. Not sure how the power stick feature works. You need to use left stick for shot direction and face buttons (Square, X or Circle) for type of shot (defensive, attacking or lofted ), so how do you use the right stick to determine power of the shot? I am a little confused and guess this would be clarified post June 4 play-test session.
2. Need more clarification on Stats feature as well. Are all the stats for players updated for the session or are they kept updated throughout? And what about online stats?
In nutshell, other than Action Cam and power stick it's AC09 all over again.
