I'm surprised there isn't already a dedicated thread on this issue. So Flower's been given the sack, was hoping it wouldn't happen, he's 3-1 in Ashes, beaten India home AND away in tests, the only coach to guide an England team to an international trophy and he got the draw against a strong SA side. But it had happened, so who do you guys think will be the nest head coach?
Giles seems to be the logical side as he is already in the set up and seems to have a good relationship with the players. Personally I don't think he's a strong enough character to bring together the fractured England dressing room. I believe England needs some strong, a bit gruff maybe. Gooch?
