It has two major bugs and hundreds of little ones.
The disallowed goals one, at least2-3 disallowed goals a game.
And the cards bug, teams having had 7/8 players sent off by January and stuff.
A BETA Patch is out, but mostly everyones getting frustrated with SI for not releasing a full edition.

I'm sorry, but that formation is ghastly. No wingers, no midfield, the wingbacks are compeltely exposed, your play will be completely 1 dimensional. Lee and Counago feed on balls into the box, which they aren't going to get from no wingers, i seriously cant see your strikers scoring many with that formation. I'd make changes before you're sacked tbh. Use a real formation :P

ill post a new one sometime soon so you's can all tell me whether its better or not

Then set your team mentality to fairly attacking, with a high tempo, fairly direct passing. Then have arrows going back to defensive mid for Legwinski and Miller which should give the defence some back-up. Then set Garvan as playmaker and select "use playmaker" and also make sure you use the width. When you are playing Alan Lee, make sure to use him as a target man. i reckon that formation will work a treat in the championship.

cheers, but it was a 5 place jump during one game... im now back in 18th after losing 3-1 to sheff utd. @ brammal lane
and 2-1 to scunthorpe, wherever they are

im with you animator.. the stupid goal disallow has frustrated me beyond insanity, i have had 6 disallowed goals by tevez and riquelme in one game... the opposition never get disallowed lol...

its not too bad tho.. my team is carving at the moment, beat arse 3-1 and Chelsea 4-1... not bad... but coming out the next week beating wigan 2-1 was disapointing lol

yeah there are some bugs in the game...just yesterday i had 5 goals disallowed in 1 game (playing as valencia) and the other team had 3 players sent off...not major but still can ruin the enjoyment...

Having just got the game I have to say I'm not impressed at all. In all honesty I wasn't that impressed with last years version either. It seems to keep going downhill since the split. Yes it has some new features and yes it definatley has the best database, but it really does suck. Unless they come up with some pretty spectacular patches this will be the last version of football manager I'll ever play. I'm even thinking the unthinkable and I might try Championship Manager

Ive decided to sell Gallas at the end of my season, 2 players (1 of whom is Riquelme, the main man of my team!!) dont like him and are unsettled as a result, so he has to go, dont care if he is the captain. So I will be in the market for a DC! Arsenal have Senderos and Djouru in waiting, but Senderos is too error prone on FM for my liking despite being quite solid at times. Djouru I havent given much chance but he looks promising. Should I give him a chance or look externally? Suggestions?

You must buy Breno from Sao Paulo he's a wonderkid and a hell of defender.. with him,djouro and toure your CB's will be pretty good...

Problem with him would be WP issues. Unless he has a second nationality the chances of him being allowed to come would be slim to none.

If you have a low class team pick up this Saudi International Malik Al-Haswari(sp). Only for 3 million and is a good striker. Already has 5 goals in 3 games for me
