Just lost Agbonlahor for 3-4 months, which is a blow, but with Delfouneso in this kind of form I doubt he'd make the starting XI that often anyway! This is a 17 year old kid who I noticed was banging in goals left right and centre for the U18's and I decided to play him in a young side that managed to make the final of the League Cup. This lad was 16 when he made his first appearance and he had played just 5 games (mainly league cup or toward the end of the season) when he started in the FA Cup final against Chelsea. His first ever professional goal was a superb lob just on the stroke of half time which helped us lift the FA Cup. This season he has played 12 times for the U18's and has scored 15 goals, along with 7 assists. In his last 4 starts for the first team he has scored 6 goals. He could be the next Theo Walcott!

Delfouneso is quality in my Villa save aswell always on the bench and comes on in the last 15 minutes for me, bags quite a few goals. Sent him on loan in my current season 2010-2011 for some proper first team action with Derby, he has 8 goals in his 9 games so far

Signed Iaqinta . He's a great back up for me. Now my strikers are Toni, Pato, Aguero, Iaquinta, Murphy, Sahar, Salas, Doudin . Everyone is back from the Olympics. Now to kick into 5th gear .

How much did you guys get Aguero for? He is a real gun, in my liverpool game that I can finally play again soon I've got Gerrard in the center as the play maker, Aguero playing Attacking mid centre and Torres up front IIRC. It works an absolute treat.

I think I'm leading after 10 or so games which is a real improvement as I finished 5th in my first year It wasn't my fault though, Spurs won 11 or 13 games in a row at the end and finished second!!!

Lol, only £13million for Richards, bet they were loving your negotiating skills . I managed to get more than that for Vincent Kompany .

As for defenders that I reccommend:

Fabricio Collocini
Lorenzo De Silvestri
Christian Chivu
Emiliano Insua
Christian Zapata
Maicon
Andres Guardado

There's a decent list of a range of defenders, centre backs, left backs and right backs. As a back four from that list I'd probably go for:
RB: De Silvestri
LB: Insua
CB: Garay
CB: Chivu

Insua is really good. Only a youngster too and you can get him fairly cheap.

Mark Beevers is a great young English centre-back on the game. I tend not to buy too many foreigners and focus on young British talent like Beevers, Eagles, Wellbeck, Ramsey etc.

He's certainly awesome. Just bagged himself a hat-trick and Man of the Match performance against Steaua Bucharest in our first UEFA Cup Group match. He's certainly got a chance of winning the young player of the year award if he can carry on like this in the league.

Will give you a chance to learn about a new league, expand your knowledge of Irish players for your own FM game for your team. I have a website set up here that will tell you about the teams and managers so far. Will play Saturday afternoons/nights depending on how people are fixed and it's a chance to meet a new set of FM players and prove just how good a manager you are!!!

Finally got my Villa team looking more how I want it. It took me 2 and a half seasons of spending as little as possible but now I have the team I want. Since January 1st theres been a marked difference in performance having got the dead wood out of the team. Looks alot stronger than the last team I presented.

A fantastic hat trick for Briand in this away match with him also getting the other assist. A fantastic performance away from home and as Porto beat Sevilla 2-0 at home the group now looks like this after 3 games:

I have Basel at home which I should win which means I would have to get a point from my last two games. I have Sevilla away and Porto at home and I can seeing me picking up at least 2 points, possibly 4. I think I'll end up with around 11 points which would see me into the knockout stage in my first ever Champions League with Blackburn.

We got lucky at the end but Pablo Piatti is now out of action for a month which could prove a problem. Despite the inury it was a decent match and a great win. Manchester United drew at home to Portsmouth but they are still 42 games unbeaten and Liverpool drew away at Everton which certainly improves our position after 12 games with only 5 teams having over 20 points.

I've got him at City. He's alright, scores a few goals. He's no Eto'o, Ibrahimovic, Villa, Guilherme or Tevez though tbh.

Got Guilherme coming in, in January. Which will bolster the side hopefully as i'm not scoring too many at the moment with Robinho and Owen, i think a third top striker will balance it and competition will become a good thing.

In other news, I've got the worst defense in the Prem, I might need for't strengthen that if I have any chance of regaining Europe status.

You're obsessed with Guilherme . He's really average without the ADDM update. Anyway £10 mil for Briand worth it? I need some good backup fullbacks though (both sides). Not a fantastic one because then I have to play them both equally. Just good backup ones.

Guilherme is incredibly good but I got outbidded by some other team I can't remember(as I'm not on my game). Briand for £10mil is a decent price to be honest, I'd pay it.
