Ok, you've asked for it, I'm gonna go on a rant! 
I would be so easy to blame Sven, so that is what I am going to do. Where shall I start?!
Ok, firstly, 4-5-1, it's crap! How can anyone say it's suited to Beckham!? he's playing as a defensive midfielder and he's not the best tackler in the world. Secondly, Rooney playing on the left works for Manchester United because he gets support! He has also got quality midfielders around him there, somthing England lack.
Beckham played as well as anyone yesterday and he was not the problem as he WANTS to play for his country. Steven Gerrard is Englands problem! He never looks like he wants to be there. Also, Gerrard is the same sort of player as Lampard, whats the point in that? Play someone like Scott Parker or Carrick for one them.
Rooney and Owen are also the same sort of player. It nullifies Beckham when Owen does not bother making runs and Rooney is stuck on the left. We need a tall striker, someone like Heskey!
I know a lot of you think he's crap, but it amazes me that he was picked when he wasn't doing it for the scousers, now he is doing it for Birmingham, he's not considered. He would offer a different kind of striker option for England.
Defoe came on yesterday. What difference is he going to make? He's the same striker as Owen and Rooney!!! If there not working he sure as hell won't ! Also, why do we want someone like Andy Johnson in the squad? He exactly the same to!!!

What exactly does anyone see in him? He has no ability! Why was he brought on?!!! He's a defensive midfielder!!! We need a goal!!! Even Beckham shouted at the bench " what the hell are we supposed to do with him?!!"
I think it shows Sven's stubburness?/has no clue? the fact that every game the same subs come on. He refuses to ever change formation or personel, "oh, we, we, we can't drop Gerrard"!
He says he is not a motivater, how much motivation should England players need to play for their country?! Only Beckham, Rooney and SWP were up for it last night.
I'm not gonna start on the defence because I think all of them are useless in an England shirt! All except Rio, because, he's just useless!!!

I dont live in Scotland, or born there, but I have Scottish heritage with a surname like Hendry. Aberdeen to be precise

Well i prefer to watch England because for obvious reasons they are much better!
However I love it when Scotland perform like they have in their last 2 games, a real spirited performance. They went to Norway knowing nothing but a win would do, and they did the job!
