...and what time has wenger chosen to spend his bucks.

moyes, by the looks of it, didn't snap out to the fact that he's at United, with a massive transfer budget compared to that of Everton's painfully tight money.

looks like Austerity at arsenal proved tedious.

Ozil to Arsenal :/ and we are still after Fellaini & Herrera :(

Who else here is extremely concerned about Moyes' appointment now? First there was the Rooney nonsense - whether he meant Rooney would be second choice or not is neither here nor there - the wording was terrible. Then there was the Thiago and Fabregas embarrassments - when Sir Alex was in charge, if we surfaced with a bid for a top player, we got them. Now, we've had bids made public all summer and who have we signed? Some bloody Chile player??

In the meantime, Ozil heads to Arsenal when had he come to Utd, it would make us title favourites with ease.

Hell, even Kaka would be worth looking at on a free. Herrera sounds to me like 'one for the future' - he isn't going to light up our midfield this season, and that's what we bloody need! We need a player who is ready to light it up now, not in two years!

Not really, last season we were linked with Hazard, who was just a signature away from joining United, only for Abrakadabramovich to get him away to Chelsea. Lucas moura, fees agreed, transfer was in place, everything flips over and he went for PSG's riches.

This season was strange. Linked to so many players but little action in the transfer window. Garay, Lewandowski, RONALDO, etc. Buying into none of these rumours anymore.

So, are you Arsenal fans now going to get off Wenger's back?

True, but Moyes keeps going on about going after the best players. Yet instead of going after Ozil, he goes after 'one for the future' in Herrera.

Naturally, the whole Glazer situation can't be helping much. Ever since these twats came along, we haven't had quite the same financial clout, which is understandable given the debts they saddled us with.

Yep; certainly looks that way. He has looked out of his depth as far as transfers go.

Can't really blame Moyes for transfer dealings. He's clearly been after the right type of players. I doubt he handles the negotiations.

We all know the big signing of the day is Peter Odemwingie to the home of the Premier League giant killers, Cardiff City!!! Up the Bluebirds :)

yep. he probably just makes a list and passes it to some suit.

Fair enough. Well, we've got a new 'suit' in charge as well, haven't we? I don't know. Just hope we sign someone who will strengthen the squad in the next few hours.

I'm sure there are some more Wigan players we could sign. They can't have all left after they got their club relegated.

Letting go of David Gill was a huge mistake from United imo. As Michael Vaughan just tweeted, go get Daniel Levy first thing next summer ;)

EDIT: Barmy, Everton are very close to signing Lukaku on loan.

Yeah - losing Sir Alex and David Gill at the same time has hurt our performance in this window. Probably more the fault of the 'suit' than Moyes himself.
