Football Transfers Thread

Yes, but Hargreaves is a Premiership type player and Tevez proved himself towards the back end of last season. It's a completely different situation. Oh and what we saw today looked pretty good!

Well done, Utd and van der Star! Three pens, three saves! Excellent stuff, I loved it the way those Chelsea fans said 'the hell with it' and left after the 3rd pen!!!! And Nani looks one hell of a corner taker, if nothing else...

Bring on next Sunday!

Wasn't really a good match and only 1 new signing played.

Ballack is Premiership type player as well. He's in the Lampard mould and he still didn't do well in his first season.

West Ham in for Dyer and Gudjohnson. How much do Newcastle want for Dyer he not worth 10 million more like 7 Edjur will come to us defo!

Lemme see.

Gudjohnson career graph (excluding his teams before Bolton)

That's very generous of you to actually show West Ham on the graph Will. Normally they wouldn't even be visible.

Originally, it took me 7 pages on Word but I thought I would make it easier to see.

I don't particuly like Edjur or Dyer but Curbishley wouldn't be buying them if they weren't good players. Anyway were short for strikers after Tevez leaving to manchester United the other day

Real Madrid's Next targets:

After Ballack's refusal to join Madrid, Madrid are now in the hunt for Ajax midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

As Real dont have a very good left back therefore Real Madrid have also got their eyes on Schalke left back Christian Pander.

and.....

Royston Drenthe is preparing to take Feyenoord to the court of arbitration in order to force his way out of the club and secure a transfer to Real Madrid.

I hope we can atleast get Drenthe and Sneidjer, as we really need an attacking Midfielder and a good Winger.

Well the possible(I was under the impression it was a done deal) signing of bresciano by Man City,Eriksson is really looking to build a very strong club now and for the future.I am suitably impressed and honestly wish them the best of luck.

Eggert thinks the Hammers will be in the champo league in 2 years time...i doubt it. But with a team like this why not...

Green

Neil----------Upson--------------Gabbidon-----------Ferdinand

Ljunberg------Faubert-------------Parker-------------Boa-Morte

Bellamy----------Ashton

It's a good enough team but not good enough for the Champions league

My predictions

1st Man Utd
2nd Chelsea
3rd Liverpool
4th Tottenham
5th Arsenal

Yeah, the one is supposed to be brilliant but is pretty average.
