...that and the free bar on Barmys tab.

The code, cricketheroes, qoute, php codes are not looking as good as it was here
For the Cricket Heroes code, at the time of this post it wasn't implemented on the testing forum. Now it has been and looks identical.

I've also implemented optional codes that allow people to continue using old style quote and code designs - but posts by default will use the new ones.

There is some stuff people were doing with the codes that isn't the intent of them - using the 'code' bbcode and using different fonts inside it for example - so some old posts aren't going to look perfect - but I'm sure users will find new ways of using the forum layout options to have creative post designs, particularly in the leagues section.

The change isn't and can't be optional.

Okay, that's gone on long enough now. Really distracting.

As has been said multiple times in this thread already, all users, posts, attachments, threads, forums, vCash, thanks, bbcodes, smilies, etc. will remain after the transition.

We will lose Fantasy Cricket, we hope to be able to have a solution in place in the future, but it is a major undertaking.

The current plans are to make the move next weekend, as we are nearing the finalisation of the remaining things we need to test on the testing site.

While we will continue to make changes as we go, please check out the testing site, including on things like mobile devices that you commonly use the site on, so we can attempt to find actual issues prior to making the move.

Please remember that things being different to what is on here isn't enough of a reason for us to make changes.

That's 4 posts in one day I've had deleted on here now! I'm considering my position.

Out of interest, is XenForo more or less expensive than vBulletin?

Only four posts in one day? You must be new...

It's differently licensed - on XenForo there's a smaller upfront fee, but yearly renewals for updates, while vBulletin is a more expensive one off.

What you should do, is get a small number of posts deleted, and then put it in your sig that you're the 2014 award winner for most deleted posts.

it gave a big room:)

Calm down, a question could've got a better answer, mainly from a member of a staff and not other members.

Buddy they need to pay for the servers , and some one said they will do something about it so sit back relax and enjoy :)

@MattW, why not keep like keep this as a forum just for Fantasy cricket?

  • He's already said they're going to work on a way to integrate it into the new place, just not right away
  • I doubt there's a demand for an entire forum based on fantasy cricket
Ergo; There will be fantasy cricket riding the dark horse once more, just not right away when they make the transition to the new forum. Change is never perfect or without compromise, if this is the only short-term compromise to getting a better forum, then we'll all be just fine.

There will be something better and more interesting waiting for us there.

We should all celebrate moving away from the horrible thing that is vbulletin...

and mourn the loss of the best forums feature, the quick thread edit!

You'll have something just as good as a mod, just it's not a regular user feature.

As time would go on there'd be a difference in the memberbases, plus this version of vBulletin has issues on the newer server software we will be moving to at the same time.
