RAJNIKANTH 207 for 4 (Moidu 152) beat Iridium XI 174 for 8 (Skepple 51, Wright 3-23) by 33 runs [T20]

A loss. :( Totally underestimated him as he was pretty inactive at the start of the season but has recently purchased some pretty good players. Bowlers were too expensive and we loss wickets at regular intervals which held back our charge. Moidu was the nemesis for us, scoring 152 and taking 3/41.

Not a big deal this loss. I can't get to first place in my league and I stay in third.

Iridium XI 346 for 9 (Powell 117, Allen 62) beat ND 179 (Parkinson 35, Rush 4-34) by 167 runs [Youth]

Powell, yet again, led from the front with his batting scoring his third century of the season. Decent contributions from the top order and some late hitting from Jeffreys and Tretheway took us to 346/9.

Bowlers took regular wickets and the batting order didn't give us much trouble. Decided to only go with the one spinner for this match, giving Rush a chance and he took it, with figures of 4/34.

Powell now has 903 runs @ 82.09 with 3 centuries and 6 fifties from 11 innings, meaning he's failed to get to 50 in only 2 innings.

Next T20 match is pretty important. Top of the table clash with Raucby Blues. We're both tied on 40 points but Blues has the better NRR. Winner will take the lead outright. Lost my last encounter against him. Hope to make amends and claim top spot.

Aussie1st is 56/2 in our PCL match after 15.3 overs, with Fox getting both wickets. The pitch supports bowlers though so we need to take some quick wickets if we want to restrict them to a chaseable total

Am on top in the PCL match which will decide this season's runner up. Fiebig's late unbelievable cameo of 64* off 30 deliveries ended a great Hedger's Team innings with 331/5, Miller opening the batting to score 87 off 90 while Byrne was his solid partner at 3 after Elgin was dismissed early, Byrne finally going for 74 off 95 balls before O'Leary and Ali played solid knocks with 45 off 42 and 37 off 34 respectively before Fiebig finished the innings with his blinding knock and Oldroyd scored 14* off 10.

They are currently 77/2 after 13 overs, James and Phillips the 2 openers completing their 5 overs for 1/27 and 1/29 repectively and Kwistel and Fiebig are bowling atm.

Saurashtra Lions are off to a poor start in their game though at 80/4 so they might struggle to win although they are already pretty much guaranteed the league title thanks to their superior NRR of +2.46, to Hedger's Team's +0.9

Tindall is starting to turn the game well in our favour after Fiebig struck with the third wicket. 130/5 after 25 with Tindall 2/3 off 2 overs.

21.1 W Tindall to Mansfield : Nicked and gone! A simple catch for Oldroyd, Mansfield does not look too happy about that shot.
M. Mansfield c M. Oldroyd b. F. Tindall 27 (34b 5x4 0x6) SR:79.41

23.1 W Tindall to Kerr : Kerr goes for the drive and ends up hitting it in the air towards point. He didn't get his foot to the pitch of the ball but went through with the shot. Fiebig swoops forward and takes it inches from the ground.
N. Kerr c J. Fiebig b. F. Tindall 3 (11b 0x4 0x6) SR:27.27

Keep in mind who he's playing. :p

haha, well i've pretty much sealed my match. They need nearly 10 an over for the last 17 overs to win with only 4 wickets in hand and Tindall will be bowling in the last 10 overs. Tindall has 3/20 off 5 overs.

29.4 W Tindall to Qassem : Qassem tried to smash that over mid-off, but it's just gone straight up. Tindall calls for it, and ... he takes it! That was in the air for an eternity!
F. Qassem c & b. F. Tindall 28 (32b 2x4 0x6) SR:87.50

I have decided not to carry out any transfers for the remainder of this season. I have currently over 230K at my disposal and I am rather looking to invest an huge amount in my academies, especially the youth one.
Current investment is 25858 for the senior academy and 38914 for the youth academy.
Good move?

Depends if you are making money at the end of the week. Plus you should note the wages do increase quite a bit at the end of the season.

Saurashtra Lions 263 (Sangakkara 88, Sutherland 69, Garrick 4-43) beat Iridium XI 82 (Skepple 32, Makwana 5-25) by 181 runs

Thrashing. Nothing to see here. :(

That is an incredibly high amount of investment. I don't see how you're still making a profit after that. Normally people recommend to only invest in academies once you've got a winning team that's drawing in crowds.

Looking at my finances, I'm still earning 20K+. Probably because I have a plenty of accomplished/reliable players, but with a low wage. Good for me.

Indian Warriors 409/4 (Rock 209, Nirguna 82, Trisanu 53) beat Woodys Warriors 106 (Sangster 6/10, Sathnarayana 2/36) by 303 runs

Awesome match, another dominating performance, Sangster just wrecked havoc in their batting lineup and Tock dominated the bowling. Late bursts from Nirguna and Trisanu(53 off 31) helped us to pass 400.
