This league is going down to the wire. 1st plays 3rd and 2nd plays 4th next week. The week after that 1st plays 4th whilst I only have to play 6th who's currently bot but I think has been assigned to someone so it WILL be a noob bashing!

So the league is pretty much mine if I win in a weeks time... but am I ready for div II??

Wow, my idiocy nearly cost me the game. I forgot that Muddle wsa part of my T20 squad before he was sold and I forgot to put in a replacement, which ended up luckily being Phillips but O'Leary, my #4 batsman bowled 2 overs which went for 25 runs, although he took a wicket, while Phillips only bowled 2 overs for some reason. We ended up winning by 2 runs, Mol top scoring with 40 while Byrne hit 33 off 23, Miller 21 off 20, O'Leary 22* off 14 and Elgin 17 off 15, as we made 149/5 off our 20 overs. Habeebullaah's crucial 3 middle order wickets gave us the game though, as he took 3/21 (4) as we won by 2 runs, with Habeebullaah getting a run out to take the final wicket. Phillips also took 2/13 in his 2 overs at the end of the match.

I've now got a fairly good chance of finishing 2nd in T20 as I'm in 3rd, I play last place in the final round, who haven't won a game this season while 2nd place plays 4th so provided 4th place causes an upset over 2nd, I will finish 2nd, otherwise I'll finish 3rd which I haven't done since Season 7. I finished 4th in Season's 8 and 9 and 2nd in Season 10 so I'm getting annoyed at not being able to be promoted.

Ahmedabad Lions 89 all out (Sathnarayana 5-17, Sreeyash 2-7) lost to Indian Warriors 92/1 (Ridings 42, Mboya 27) by 9 wickets.

Amazing, and as expected, Sathnarayana ripped through their batting to give us our best bowling figures in T20's. Sreeyash done good too. Ridings and Mboya finished it off in style.

, He suddenly dropped from outstanding batsman to expert batsman, dunno why? What might be the reason?

Form, fatigue, skill plops.

I can't say about form but IMO it's not due to his fatigue because the plops due to fatique aren't shown on player profile page.

This means he's gonna get a rest next ODI, not needed as I'm already out, I'll be playing second string team for rest two.

it doesn't show when fatigue goes down though. But it's probably got something to do with form and maybe the probable one level drop in fatigue. It doesn't really matter though.

It's better to have an outstanding batsman rather than an expert one.

Iridium XI 252 for 5 (Jeffreys 70*, Broadfoot 64, Powell 51) beat Raucby Blues 216 for 8 (O'Sullivan 94, Buttsworth 4-43) by 36 runs

Started off well with the openers opening the account with a 69-run opening stand before a few wickets fell reducing us to 105/4. A solid 117-run 5th wicket partnership between Broadfoot and Jeffreys brought us back on track and eventually to a total of 252/5.

Bowlers claimed early wickets and Blues were down at 43/3. But a 1-run partnership for the 4th wicket brought them right back into the chase but two wickets in two balls from Tretheway swung the game back our way. Despite a lone 94 from O'Sullivan, Buttsworth cut through the tail ending their innings 36 runs short.

Going into this game, Blues and I were tied on 40 points with Blues in first due to a superior NRR. This win puts me in first outright and the only way for me to lose my spot is if I lose to Colombo Cobras next week.

What I mean is that it doesn't really matter when you're dominating in your leagues that much anyway :p and a very low outstanding is pretty much the same as an extremely high expert, which your player is.

And completely dominated the opposition in today's youth match. Bowled them out for 64, Habeebullaah 3/15 (8), Baldry 3/12 (4.3), Healy 2/12 (4) and Whiteman 1/15 (4) and I chased that down in only 7.1 overs, with 9 wickets to spare, losing our only wicket on the first ball, Murch out for a golden duck. Mol hit 38* off 26 and Mohammad scored 26* off 16.

hahahahaha I lost my T20 match because of my 4 youths

hey, jono. would you please consider selling Lindeman to me :)

I will pay you a lot of money for him :) Enough for you to buy a couple of my great senior players which I'm looking to sell :p

Well Reshma is ████. He's gone for 3 sixes in 1.2 overs against Chewie's youth team. 0/26 off 1.2, Reshma is. Baldry keeping it reasonably tight at the other end on a flat pitch with 0/5 off 2.

lol my openers are smashing your bowlers around. The pitch isn't very helpful to them though so we're gonna have to score big if we want to win

Well as long as I restrict you to below 270, I think we have a strong chance as I have a better top order probably than you. Let's see:

Mangan - Reasonable/Average - Murch - Accomplished/Reliable
Pearson - Average/Average - Mol - Reasonable/Reasonable
Webster - Capable/Reasonable - Mohammad - Reliable/Reasonable
Wijma - Average/Ordinary - Young - Average/Reasonable
Lindeman - Reasonable/Capable - Khan - Capable/Capable
Egglestone - Reasonable/Ordinary - Savage - Reasonable/Ordinary

First wicket down :( Your spinners are really good at restricting the runs. I'll just have to wait for your pace bowlers to come back on and smack them around :)

My bowlers are crap as well
