FTP: From the Pavilion general chat

Its almost over now.... Waddell bowled a crap over. He gave 17 runs:facepalm Now they need just 27 runs in 8 overs with 4 wickets in hand:noway

----------

That one bad over cost us the match... Although we were 50 runs short. Both openers got start but failed to convert them into big scores. Broadbent was the difference in this low scoring contest. He was notout on 98 as ASA won by just 3 wickets.

Easy win today. They scored 124/6 from their 20 overs, Kentwell taking 3/19. We chased it down easily, Murch skippering the side for the first time, scoring 63* off 36 while Mol scored 35 off 22 and Pettinger made 20* off 13 balls as we won by 9 wickets with 50 balls remaining.

Murch is doing really well actually in T20 cricket, with 445 runs @ 63.57.

Won easily, without playing any of my good players.

T20 Match:

Indian Warriors 257/2 ( Rock 111, French 117 ) beat SpotFixers 49 ( Sreeyash 3-20, Sangster 3-7, French 2-5) by 208 runs

Amazing match, Twin centuries.:D

Really should have won this youth match after we had them at 137/8 but they managed to score 173 and we are 125/7 atm. So really, we should have needed another 13 runs to win which we should have done.

----------

Well these 2 have really turned the game on its head. Now I'd say we are slight favourites with 25 runs to win at 3.57 runs an over with 3 wickets in hand.

End of over 33 (3 runs) - Hedger's Team(149-7). 25 runs required from 7 overs. RR 4.52 RRR 3.57
F. Bollinger 21 (33b) , L. van der Hoeven 25 (37b) , J. Weston 5-0-28-0

----------

Big over there for both sides. Now this is really going down to the wire. One run to start off the next over so 9 runs to win.

End of over 36 (7 runs) - Hedger's Team(164-8). 10 runs required from 4 overs. RR 4.56 RRR 2.50

B. Healy 1 (1b) , F. Bollinger 28 (46b) , L. Cumberbatch 6-0-34-2
35.6 1 Cumberbatch to Bollinger : Worked around to fine leg, Garner quickly onto the ball.
35.5 . Cumberbatch to Bollinger : Full ball on off stump driven straight to Garner at mid-off by Bollinger.
35.4 . Cumberbatch to Bollinger : Someone needs to tell Bollinger that it's a cricket bat, not an axe. Swipes at a wide one with a very closed face, lucky to have missed it. Archibald's definitely giving him some stick over that shot.
35.4 nb Cumberbatch to Bollinger : Slightly shorter in length outside off stump, Bollinger moves back and drives on the up to cover.
35.3 4 Cumberbatch to Bollinger : Superbly timed shot from Bollinger and it goes straight past long on for four runs.
35.2 1 Cumberbatch to Healy : Cuts fiercely through the infield, but the cover sweeper does well to keep them down to a single.
35.1 W Cumberbatch to van der Hoeven : van der Hoeven is usually a good hooker, but couldn't quite get over it this time. Caught down at fine leg by Weston.
L. van der Hoeven c J. Weston b. L. Cumberbatch 31 (42b 2x4 0x6) SR:73.81

Go Healy, go!

End of over 37 (4 runs) - Hedger's Team(168-8). 6 runs required from 3 overs. RR 4.54 RRR 2.00
F. Bollinger 29 (47b) , B. Healy 4 (6b) , J. Weston 7-0-34-0

----------

Scores tied :D

37.4 2 Cumberbatch to Bollinger : Punched through the off side for 2.
37.3 1 Cumberbatch to Healy : Pitched up, outside off, driven for a single.
37.2 1 Cumberbatch to Bollinger : Belted back down the ground by Bollinger, Healy dives out of the way and they pick up 1
37.1 lb Cumberbatch to Healy : Cumberbatch slides this one onto Healy's pads but he's missed it. They'll get a leg bye but Healy has squandered a great chance there.

----------

Yes, what a great win. Who knew we'd manage to win that. Frank Bollinger, you legend.

37.5 1 Cumberbatch to Bollinger : Angles it from wide of the crease and Bollinger gets some wood on it as he gets forward to defend. The ball takes the outside edge and trickles past third slip and down to third man for a single.

End of over 38 (6 runs) - Hedger's Team(174-8) RR 4.58
B. Healy 5 (8b) , F. Bollinger 33 (50b) , L. Cumberbatch 6.5-0-39-2

Frank Bollinger was our top scorer and van der Hoevin was the next highest.

Posted 258 on board and their opening partnership was taking it away until this:

13.1 W van Amsterdam to Kallakuri : [catch] That's very full from van Amsterdam, it's just about waist height and Kallakuri has absolutely creamed that down to deep extra cover where he picks out Hansberry. The umpires are checking with each other here, there seems to be some confusion, and it seems it is NOT a no ball. Kallakuri is on his way, and he is fuming with that
C. Kallakuri c L. Hansberry b. M. van Amsterdam 30 (39b 3x4 0x6) SR:76.92

14.1 W Barkhuizen to Koganti : It's up! Sorabhjee is coming round quickly for it... and takes the catch! Rash thinking and a bit of premeditation from Koganti has him on the way back to the pavilion.

Still tough work ahead.

Playing a friendly against a 71K rating team tomorrow, wish me luck :p

I've already got Iridium one wicket down :D

7/1 after 3.2 overs. The pitch is terrible for batting on though.

I forgot about our friendly and only set up my lineup last minute from my phone. Hopefully everything went through.

Already 2 down. This isn't going to last long at this rate.

This could be interesting. I'm 21/2 after 6.1 chasing 160.

I reckon you'll easily chase it down. Now there'll be a big partnership, followed by a few wickets but by then it'll be too late.
