Aidan O'Leary is making his Senior NAT debut for Ireland today and is currently out batting. Put in as a number 6, he will be looking to make the most of the chance.

Scotland made 154 all out and Ireland are 105/4 after 31 overs. O'Leary is 2* off 6 balls atm.

----------

That was his first ball in International cricket.

29.5 . Hill to O'Leary : Huge appeal for lbw. Full in length, on the middle stump line and straightened a touch and O'Leary went for a loose drive. The bat came outside the line and the ball hit the pad. Close. Very close. Did he get an inside edge? The replays don't confirm that.

----------

End of over 33 (2 runs) - Ireland(110-4). 45 runs required from 17 overs. RR 3.33 RRR 2.65
A. O'Leary 6 (14b) , E. Fitzgerald 36 (75b) , P. Murphy 7-0-18-0

O'Leary looking to get himself in against the spinners.

----------

lol, how they managed to do this against a spinner, idk.

35.1 1 Hill to O'Leary : Wonderful display of running there. O'Leary has just dropped the ball at his feet and they have picked up a single.

----------

Damn.

39.3 W Hill to O'Leary : Looping flight from Hill, but O'Leary reads it early, dances down the track to get to the pitch. His attempt to slam it straight back over the bowler's head only results in a simple catch for long on.
A. O'Leary c M. Grant b. P. Hill 13 (32b 0x4 0x6) SR:40.62

Fling... Had a great start against Agrid, I was 117/0 in 17 overs and now i'm 157/6 in 30 overs :facepalm

Well Young and Moxly have turned this game around. After 29 overs, we were 154/2 with Khan on 81* off 84 and Omara on 47 off 72 balls. Then they both got out and we were 157/4 after 31 overs. Now we're 198/4 after 36 overs and even 240-250 is on the cards.

End of over 36 (10 runs) - Hedger's Team(198-4) RR 5.50
M. Young 25 (22b) , A. Moxly 17 (15b) , S. Buttsworth 6-0-41-1

----------

Great over there.

End of over 37 (17 runs) - Hedger's Team(215-4) RR 5.81
A. Moxly 27 (19b) , M. Young 31 (25b) , B. Pfaff 7-0-55-1

Should be able to defend this total.

End of over 40 (9 runs) - Hedger's Team(245-5) RR 6.12
A. Moxly 40 (25b) , L. van der Hoeven 11 (7b) , S. Buttsworth 8-0-63-1

----------

haha, yeah. He's a great finishing batsman.

----------

Moxly's stats this season.

Andrew Moxly 9 matches, 341 runs @ 37.89, HS 74, SR 105.2, 4 50s, 17 4's, 8 6's
15 wickets @ 31.33, BBI 4-19, ER 6.91, SR 27.20, 3 3wi

----------

And the start we wanted.

0.3 W Bollinger to Thompson : Thompson drives at a wide ball, but only succeeds in giving an easy catch to Mijnke at point.
J. Thompson c P. Mijnke b. F. Bollinger 4 (2b 1x4 0x6) SR:200.00

Bowled out for 220 on a crumbling pitch... I hope this is a competitive total:noway. Should have score more :facepalm

Yep, looks like we should win. A great spell of bowling from Bol, after going for 17 runs in his first 2 overs, he's bounced back bowling the next 4 overs for figures of 2/10.

End of over 20 (2 runs) - Iridium XI(83-4). 163 runs required from 20 overs. RR 4.15 RRR 8.15
C. Powell 35 (47b) , H. Smith 1 (2b) , A. Moxly 2-0-8-0

----------

And he strikes again. And that's Powell gone.

20.3 W Bol to Powell : Short of a good length delivery on the stumps, Powell makes room and takes a swing. The ball clips the top edge and balloons up to mid-on.
C. Powell c M. Khan b. M. Bol 35 (49b 2x4 0x6) SR:71.43

Should have had 4 wickets but a great spell nevertheless.

End of over 23 (4 runs) - Iridium XI(101-5). 145 runs required from 17 overs. RR 4.39 RRR 8.53
H. Smith 6 (12b) , A. Jeffreys 12 (6b) , M. Bol 8-0-33-3

Agrid 96/4 in 21 overs. They need to score 128 runs more... Do i smell a upset here:spy
Bottomline is that i need to take 6 wickets to win the game

Well I was always expecting a loss. The majority of my team are players who I got lumped with when I started playing along with a few youth pulls I kept.

Wow 5 down... Agrid South Africa is 133/5 in 32 overs:yes. They still need 88 runs and they have just one recognized batsman at the crease.. Come on Yankees...:clap
