That was absolutely nail-bitter. Last ball was the decider... :noway

Forgot to set my XI and it went with my default XI which I had set for playing on hard surfaces. Tonight's match was an away fixture on a crumbling surface and the result was a massive defeat by 98 runs! :facepalm

I'm iridiuming in every game this season :( I guess we should change the term to aping now :p

tweaking hell. I can't seem to win a match this season. Lost third match in a row against a lower rated team :facepalm This time difference was 3.5K:noway

Lars van der Hoeven has been one of the emerging stars this season at 19 years of age. In 10 youth games this season, he's made 395 runs and an enormous average of 98.75 along with 20 catches behind the stumps. He's shown his potentital as well in the T20 format, playing 3 matches for 72 runs @ 24 especially scoring 37 in their poor performance earlier this week.

Had an awesome upset win in my T20 game today which should keep me in second for the rest of the season

Victor Omara hammered 180 for Canada today off only 141 balls, the highest score made by a Canadian player in U19 OD competitive cricket. Also has become the first Canadian player to score 2 competitive U19 OD centuries and the first to have scored 4 U19 OD centuries in either competitive or friendly matches.

And only two players have scored more than that in U19 OD history with Blake Rios scoring 196 for USA against Zimbabwe last year and Darren Partington scoring 189 for England against Bangladesh way back in 2009.

16.4 4 Cartwright to Sutherland : [misfield] Looks like Gatenby doesn't want to get his cricket whites dirty! A terrible attempt at a sliding save and Cartwright gets four more added against his name.
16.3 4 Cartwright to Sutherland : Flat, short, and thwacked away by Sutherland straight back over the bowler's head.
16.2 4 Cartwright to Sutherland : Drifting down leg and Sutherland gleefully helps it on its way to the boundary.
16.1 4 Cartwright to Sutherland : Blasted! Immense fun! Full pitched around off stump and driven well to the left of mid off.

Sutherland has gone for that...

Now the mammoth target for opposition...

End of over 20 (17 runs) - Saurashtra Lions(236-3) RR 11.80
B. Piyush 101 (49b) , M. Sutherland 58 (29b) , C. Ross 4-0-56-1

A ridiculously important match for us tonight - relegation battle! If I win and one of my opposition lose elsewhere (likely), I move out of the relegation zone for the first time this season.

Started pretty well before a couple of silly run-outs.

End of over 10 (10 runs) - Liverpool Lightnings(94-2) RR 9.40
C. Bagot 1 (3b) , N. Hanna 9 (3b) , T. McGan 3-0-26-0

Match on a crumbling surface btw.
