FTP: From the Pavilion general chat

Academy has improved to reasonable for both Senior and Youth :D

And my supporters club are joyful now :) 574 supporters wooo

A few good youth improvements too though. Batting of one guy to reasonable, a RFM bowler to ordinary and one guy's tech went to ordinary.

Had two players get pops in my youth squad, both who are in my first XI. Academy remains the same.

Got a T20 match tomorrow. Shouldn't be too hard. Still quite a bit off the pace with regards to the league table. Currently third on 12 points with second place being on 20 and his NRR much higher. Hoping for a big win.

A new feature:

Associations can be created by Pavilion members and are private organisations that are intended to add an extra element of enjoyment to the game.
Associations are places where like minded people, or people who enjoy a common interest, can congregate. Each association has a corresponding private forum where association members can get together and chat privately.

Do you think if one of the new guys made one that it would stay around when their pavilion membership expired?

It doesn't matter if they remain or not.. I have created a association just to check your point but when i tried to invite any one of you, it says " Only Pavilion members can join"... :(

I'm now having a go at bidding for some nice players. Though I believe that somebody richer would still outbid me.

I rested a few players, played some second XI players, and played some youths. I played the wrong Dutch player (meant to play my gun one but played my finisher), but I still managed to score 251 from my 20 overs haha. My two most recent purchases opened and got us off to a flier, both scoring half centuries. Then my youth all-rounder came in and smashed an unbeaten half century, with my youth finisher hitting 33 at an amazing strike rate and my captain/senior finisher scoring 47 off 20 at the end. Egglestone failed however (He's one of my best youth batsmen).

Managed to bowl them out for 103 from 19 overs. Chauhan bowled amazingly, in a performance that may see him return to the main XI, while Kapini was expensive in taking two wickets. He will probably be my reserve pace bowler for a while still. My youth all-rounder got a wicket but was expensive so it may pay for me to play him as a batsman only for the moment. My two left arm mediums were pretty good and economical though.

Because I was playing those youths, my match rating was pretty low, but I remain at the top of the T20 table by some distance :)

Iridium XI won by 157 runs

No troubles in my match. Skepple scored 94 from 51, but he got out and missed out on a ton. My new batsmen, Khan, finally got a good contribution in with 52 from 26. Ended the 20 overs with 231/4.

Opposition lost wickets regularly and wrapped up their innings for 74. Decided to rest Kenobi as he had been struggling to take wickets in T20 and game Cordel Ali a go. Good move too as he took 4/13 while Garrick chipped in with 4/15.

So I'm planted firmly in 3rd on the table. I don't think I'll be able to take 1st place from Chewie thanks to his NRR. Second will also be tricky because Central Thunderbirds also has a high NRR, +4.0941 to my +2.6081. Those 3 losses I got at the start of the season have made things difficult. I don't think I'll have the luzury to play second XI player or youths. I have bowl out teams or chase down scores like a madman to get my NRR up.

You, me and Thunderbirds are the only ones with decent squads. Against the other teams you should be able to play second team players/youth.

fearsome tweak. I came on a minute after the player I was bidding on finished :facepalm

My T20 match as it progressed:

Kuddus Miah'r Egaro won the toss and batted first

Kentwell strikes 4th ball. 5/1 after 1 over.

They fight back but Muddle strikes again, Richardson caught behind for 8. 23/2 off 5 overs.

Another wicket, this time a run out. 32/3 after 6 overs.

The partnership is broken by the young spinner, Habeebulaah. Docker out for 22. 57/4 after 11 overs.

Habeebulaah strikes again in his next over, caught by the skipper. Thomson out for 26. 66/5 off 13 overs.

Habeebulaah is on fire. A wicket in his final over to take 3/24 off his 4 overs, 77/6 off 15 overs.

LeBron James finally gets some deserved wickets with a double strike. 78/8 off 16 overs, James 2/13 off 4.

Muddle finishes with 2 wickets in the 18th over to take 3/13 off 2.5 as they are all out for 90.

Hedger's Team's innings:

Mol is out for 3 after Byrne hits a four or six early in the second over. 20/1 after 2. Byrne 17* off 7.

Byrne is on fire while Miller is out for 5. 44/2 after 5 overs, Byrne 34* off 22.

Byrne's innings comes to an end, out for 37. 56/3 after 7. O'Leary 9*.

O'Leary fires the team towards victory before getting out for 28 off 18 balls. 88/4 after 10 overs. 3 runs to win.

Fiebig scores the last few runs to give Hedger's Team a 6 wicket win with many overs to spare. Habeebulaah takes a deserved MOTM for his 3 important wickets. His third 3 wicket haul in 6 T20 matches. Oldroyd took 4 catches.

Openers started nicely.. Both scoring fifties with one of them top scoring 95*(52b) and other playing a cameo 65(25b).. Then 20 year old William Bevan chipped in with 63(33b)..
Angrypixel XI 236/3 after 20 overs.

In bowling, Screech Powers is on fire...took 4 wickets for 9 runs in his first 2 overs.. Damn.. I wish i had given him a full 4 over spell upfront. He might have got a few more wickets...

AngryPixel added 3 Minutes and 7 Seconds later...

Here is my T20 League table:

8 Single Spartans 6 1 5 0 4 -2.3994 907 / 119.2 1150 / 115.0

Those 3 wins came only after i took over the team.. And they were big wins that is indicated by the NRR :p I guess after todays match i should move up to 2nd.. And if there are no upsets in future matches, i should be able to get a promotion as my team is batter than the top team in the league

Stephen Byrne is the 12th highest run scorer with 195 runs but an average 27.86. :facepalm

How am I in second if he's like my best batsman.
