What are wonder seasons? Or are they some random thinking invented by you?

I hate Curtin . He always gets in the way of my winning games against you.

Yes. I made the name up. :p

Which keeper should I use now.

Hedger's Team >> Murray Oldroyd >> Details
Player Info
23 years old | 33,868 rating | $2,330 wage

Left hand batsman | Right arm Fast medium

Talents Finisher
Nationality Australia
Form accomplished
Fatigue moderate
Experience reasonable
Captaincy capable

Skills
Batting capable Endurance reasonable
Bowling dreadful Technique capable
Keeping accomplished Power poor
Fielding poor

Hedger's Team >> James Pettinger >> Details
Player Info
23 years old | 40,949 rating | $5,248 wage

Left hand batsman | Right arm Medium

Talents Gifted (Power), Skilled (Bowling)
Nationality Australia
Form reasonable
Fatigue rested
Experience poor
Captaincy ordinary

Skills
Batting expert Endurance reasonable
Bowling poor Technique expert
Keeping capable Power poor
Fielding average

Same endurance, same power, bowling doesn't make a difference and fielding doesn't mean too much. Both reliable summary batsman but Oldroyd is reliable keeper summary while Pettinger is only reasonable keeper summary

Murray Oldroyd no other option. He is Finisher and can boost your run-rate in final overs. Both are same but this is best option...

But you can use another as batsmen or rotate them. Both are same...

How much did you get Pettinger for in the end?

Despite two home games this week, I'm still down 8k with one away match to go :(

I think I need to sell some players.

And now I'm getting wasted in my youth match :(

My bowling letting me down in my match. Not looking too good at the moment.

I got upset massively in my Youth match. My match rating was 8k more than them (56k v 48k) but they managed to score 300, and I could only get to 297 :facepalm

My Dutch batsman though scored an unbeaten century and after two matches doesn't have an average.

Iridium XI won by 36 runs

Despite my win, I'm still not happy. My in-form (and possibly best) youth batsmen Clem Powell was the only one to pass fifty with 77. Everyone else had starts but couldn't kick on. All the batsmen who batted passed double digits. Ended the innings with 285/7 at a RR of 7.12

Bowling looks like the weak link for me. Gave away a 119 opening stand and they were looking well on track to chasing down my total. But around the 23rd over onwards, bowlers started to tighten things up, with Tretheway taking a wicket and bowling a crucial maiden. In the end a lower order collapse made our job easier and came away with the win. The big starts I tend to concede usually come back to haunt me. By the time I've clawed it back, by then they're more than halfway to the target.

Win wasn't big enough to significantly raise my NRR. So right now I'm 1st equal on points (20) with two other teams but ranked 3rd due to my lower NRR.

I bought him for $80,000 and now wishing I didn't.

Mol scored a golden duck, Murch then was run out for 10. Mohammad and Young rebuilded the innings before Mohammad got out for 36. Khan dominated flying to 65 while Young was dismissed for 42. Khan got out for 88 off 53. I ended up making 232/8 from my 40 overs.

Getting dominated. They are 172-0 from 24 overs. Wait, just got my first wicket. Baldry strikes.

24.3 W Baldry to Mantri : Terrific ball that moved away just a touch from Mantri, drawn forward into a drive, and it took a thin outside edge to a diving Mol behind the stumps.
R. Mantri c R. Mol b. K. Baldry 91 (86b 4x4 3x6) SR:105.81

26.3 W Baldry to Shahanah : Bowled him! Excellent delivery on a length, nips back in from outside the off stump, Shahanah on the front foot looks to drive through the off side, gets the inside edge and strikes the middle stump.
A. Shahanah b. K. Baldry 71 (67b 5x4 1x6) SR:105.97

End of over 27 (1 run) - train(181-2). 52 runs required from 13 overs. RR 6.70 RRR 4.00
N. Williams 4 (8b) , W. Avontuur 1 (3b) , K. Baldry 6-0-40-2

Baldry is giving us a shot at this.

And the triple blow.

27.4 W Whiteman to Williams : Oh dear, a rank long hop from Whiteman and Williams charges gleefully, but he has missed it completely. Mol accepts the gift and neatly taps the bails off and there is pandemonium. High fives all round. Whiteman grins sheepishly, that deserved to be sent over the boundary, not a wicket!
N. Williams st R. Mol b. A. Whiteman 6 (10b 1x4 0x6) SR:60.00

End of over 28 (6 runs) - train(187-3). 46 runs required from 12 overs. RR 6.68 RRR 3.83
W. Avontuur 4 (6b) , A. Kanapathipillai 1 (1b) , A. Whiteman 6-0-37-1

And this is for revenge as well. This is the team that denied us promotion last season.

6 wicket loss with 4.4 overs to spare. The opening partnership destroyed us. I'm now in 4th even though I should have been close to favourites for winning the league.

Aditya's Team won by 7 wickets

First match that my team played and they won it. Quite happy with the performance. I am still learning FTP. Would be interesting to see how my team plays in the upcoming matches. :)

Computer controlled teams suck. My youth team chased an easy 288 today (40 overs) in just 33 or so overs lol.
