FTP: From the Pavilion general chat

I would move to Scotland personally because of the start time but less people have moved to Ireland so you'll get into a higher division initially.

No. Unless as the season is near its end there aren't too many people moving there.

The thing is that I'd get more money staying in New Zealand, at least for the first few season, as it's unlikely I'd be near the top of the division due to the randomised leagues, and the prize money for coming near the bottom is less than i'd get in NZ most likely.

There were just 20 odd people in Ireland and 40+ in Scotland when i applied. Thus i went for Ireland, should get into Division 3 at least.

@Hedger, are you playing your full strength team today or resting some key player :p

Thanks for reminding me. I need to make sure I don't have my dreadful batsman opening the batting.

Here's my lineup:

1. Joseph Murch - Youth
2. Ruben Mol - Youth
3. Stephen Byrne* - First Team
4. Aidan O'Leary - First Team
5. Michael Young - Youth
6. James Fiebig - First Team
7. James Pettinger (wk) - Second Team
8. Norval Watkin - First Team
9. Aravinda Habeebullaah - Youth
10. Graham Phillips - First Team
11. Barry Healy - Youth (Hasn't played a youth match)

^ hahaha... Screech Powers imitation :D I've stopped playing him in the top order, though he's still a decent batsman at number 8. Chips in with quick 2o or 30 every now or then

I was looking at spin bowlers in the transfer market and found one who had dreadful batting but a double century in OD cricket. He had no scores above 30 in T20 or YOD. Was rather weird.

^ Whats weird in that? My Dreadful batsman has 4 centuries and 2 fifties this season in OD :p... He's got five 5fors too :D

hmm, thats a strange lineup. You are rest couple of good players. Should be a close match then.

Does anyone has a free slot on 3rd November?? Someone's challenging for a match. I would accept it if no one here has free slot. Nice opportunity to try out some new combinations.

I'm also playing a Youth match that day. But still there is challenge request. *confused*:noway

I'm pretty sure over 60% of the time, Phillips' bouncer results in a wicket

1.2 W Phillips to Walters : [Bouncer] Walters is usually a good hooker, but couldn't quite get over it this time. Caught down at fine leg by Habeebullaah .
K. Walters c A. Habeebullaah b. G. Phillips 1 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR:20.00

Very weird commentary.

3.2 W Phillips to Caterer : [catch] Who said you had to bowl good balls to get wickets? Phillips slipped in his delivery, and the ball lost all its pace there. Caterer had time to have a cup of tea before he hit that, but still managed to pick out Mol, who was the only man inside the circle on the onside. That was a comedy of errors all round.
K. Caterer c R. Mol b. G. Phillips 5 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR:83.33

You're getting smacked around a bit now, even with those two wickets :p

This is not what I expected. Phillips took 3 wickets but the rest pretty much failed. Healy has had 2 dropped catches off his bowling which won't help him.

End of over 46 (24 runs) - New York Yankees(364-5) RR 7.91
C. Dunbar 38 (25b) , L. Christopher 190 (143b) , B. Healy 8-0-85-0
