FTP: From the Pavilion general chat

The good thing at the moment is that Byrne and O'Leary, my 2 best batsman are at the crease and have got started.

Your two youth players didn't last long :p

You're much behind the required run rate now, I'd say you don't have much chance of getting there to be honest :p

Never expected to chase it down but if these 2 stay in the whole innings, then I will have a chance if they decide they want to pick up the RR. The RRR is now up to just below 9.5.

They must have heard me. Well I guess I am only up in the pavilion and I must have been shouting loud enough.

That is 50 runs for O'Leary (51 runs, 39b 6x4 1x6) SR:130.77
16.5 2 Campbell to O'Leary : Bouncer, hooked away by O'Leary. King cuts it off just inside the rope, and the batsmen run 2.
16.4 2 Campbell to O'Leary : Clipped off his thigh and the batsmen run 2.
16.3 4 Campbell to O'Leary : Wayward delivery from Campbell. O'Leary opens the face of the bat and slots the ball nicely through gully. Poor bowling, great strokeplay. 4 runs.
16.2 4 Campbell to O'Leary : Nothing wrong with that ball from Campbell, but it's driven away on the up for a classy boundary.

Couple more overs like that and you could be in with a chance, albeit a slim chance.

Haha since posting that they've really turned on the gas! 15 runs the next over

Well they've decided to up the RR a little with another huge over.

That is the 100 partnership (101 runs, 81b, 7x4, 3x6) SR:124.69
17.5 6 Mishra to O'Leary : Making swift steps down the pitch O'Leary has lofted that so far in the air for 6 that it reminds me of Mark Greatbatch.
17.4 1 Mishra to Byrne : Tucked around the corner by Byrne and O'Leary calls him through for a quick single. Good running!
17.3 1 Mishra to O'Leary : Tossed up on the legs and O'Leary uses his feet superbly, gets to the pitch of the ball and drives it through mid-on straight to the man on the boundary. The batsmen pick up a single.
17.2 3 Mishra to Byrne : Fuller ball from Mishra, Byrne drives solidly but doesn't get the connection he wanted and King chases it down a fair way short of the rope.
17.1 4 Mishra to Byrne : [misfield] A casual one-handed attempt results in a misfield by Caterer.

End of over 18 (15 runs) - Hedger's Team(116-2). 292 runs required from 32 overs. RR 6.44 RRR 9.12
A. O'Leary 58 (43b) , S. Byrne 41 (46b) , A. Mishra 4-1-26-0

Another good over, 10 off.

I can already read the headlines.

Byrne and O'Leary put on a 390 run partnership to guide Hedger's Team to an unbelievable victory

lol, 66 runs off the last 5 overs.

Just woke up and saw the scorecard
:p

Christopher return to the form is good news after 2 ducks in last 2 games.
It is a bit surprising that the normal players failed in this match and those who were aggressive scored good.

Dunbar and Powers were awesome. I'm waiting for their second spell which is very near.... Hoping for some more wickets

Wicket.. Yeah:cheers

Hahaha. Drinks break now. Hoping for another classic loss of concentration after a break wicket. :p
Last over as a tight one. RR is back to 9.

Dunbar is a bowler, he's played a nice little cameo. His highest score before this was 14

In following Hedger's match I didn't realize I had a friendly on with Zorax. Nothing to see, I'm going to lose.

Need to get Byrne out soon. Match is really balanced ATM.

Really happy that Young got out so I have a chance now having my next best batsman after O'Leary and Byrne at the crease. A good century for Byrne as well.
