It is reported that Bristol City manager Gary Johnson is in talks with FC Cosa Nostra chairman Don Corleone after his side slipped to bottom of the table with a 2-1 home defeat to former bottom side Melbourne FC.

Gary Johnson, who has seen promotion with Bristol City and Yeovil, as well as a World Cup with Latvia, is reported to have met with the chairman earlier today. It is expected that Trapattoni will be given two or three games, in which he must win them all, otherwise he will be left without a job.

Trapattoni hasn't signed a single player this season, something that concerns both chairman and fans.

FC Cosa Nostra face off against the Golden Warriors in Round 12 in a 'must win' game. What will trouble fans is that bonus ball signing Adriano is yet to score for the club leaving no real goalscorer at the club, although Martin Thompson has tried his best to fill the void.

Wanderley Luxemburgo > Gary Johnson

If only you had've changed managers earlier.. you could've had the legendary Luxemburgo, who has turned us around with two wins from three matches. :D

Anyway, Treva. I think the idea is just to pray for more bonus balls.. come on Ollie. Bottom 4 teams get 5 new bonus balls. ;)

He managed to not win the World Cup with a team expected to win and arguably better than any Brazilian team since. Johnson would've lifted that trophy ;)

Trapattoni - "I'm ready to leave"

Giovanni Trapattoni has revealed that he is ready to leave FC Cosa Nostra after he watched on as he side suffered a 3-0 defeat to Golden Warriors.

In the post-match interview Trapattoni was asked about his thoughts on the comments made by Don Corleone earlier in the week. "I am ready to leave." he replied. "I haven't enjoyed my time here and I'm sad to see it not work out. Time to move on."

It is now expected that Gary Johnson will sign a contract that will take him to the end of the season before his performance as manager is reviewed.

Fans have become extremely worried about the team's performance in the inaugural season of the Virgin Premier League, currently sitting rock bottom with just a couple of wins.

Johnson will be expected to sign players once he takes over, the club having only received three footballing stars thanks to the 'Bonus Balls' program issued by the league association to the clubs in the bottom three and with the least signings.

Johnson signs deal until end of the season

Gary Johnson has officially signed a deal that will see him take over bottom side FC Cosa Nostra until the end of the season.

Johnson, who was in the stands for their home loss to AFC Kiko at the weekend, has been unveiled as the club's second manager after Giovanni Trapattoni left last week.

Trapattoni's final move as manager was to sign pacey Englishman Theo Walcott in his only signing as manager, something that he was heavily criticised for by the chairman and fans during his time at El Castilo.

Johnson is trusted with the task of lifting the club out of the bottom three and will be joined by Darijo Srna, the club's new defender, after another FA initiative benefited the bottom club.
