I'm just shooting in the dark because I've no idea how things back behind the scenes at espncricinfo, but could this because it's based on the edition that the visitor is currently viewing? I went to the espncricinfo site and choose the Pak edition and the first article that I saw was of the ongoing SA-Aus match (which makes sense since it's currently live) and the next one was of the Pak-WI.Cricinfo for a long time has been massively biased, clearly favouring the likes of the top 3. I understand that more than the majority of their audience (and writers) are Indian and a bashing of the opposition will always go down well for them. But at times their coverage of series that don't have the top 3 sides is sarcastic and little degrading for the opposition. But alas, there isn't much option for cricket lovers.
Yes, i agree that the editions thing is very cool. But i agree with Ahmad about the tone with which the matches not involving the so called Big 3 plus SA are coveredI'm just shooting in the dark because I've no idea how things back behind the scenes at espncricinfo, but could this because it's based on the edition that the visitor is currently viewing? I again switched back to the Indian edition and though there was no difference in the first article (SA-Aus), the second was about the IPL.

But isn't the "layout" telling you the priority of the content that is being shown to the user? First would the match that is currently being played live while the second one is about the most recent/happening thing in the region? That or I have completely misinterpreted your definition of "coverage".My point was simply that the coverage itself is often a little off tone and at times seems like a mixture of sarcasm and mocking.
So what? We're questioning Cricinfo as a whole , not writers. It doesn't matter from where that guy is.https://twitter.com/Danny61000?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author

LOL ! why so much fuss about that article which itself was written by a certain Danyal Rasool who is from Lahore itself working for cricinfo ? Big three blah blah blah India - IPL etc etc . I even remember reading a good couple of articles disparaging the IND - SL series which took place in november.

Well.... The sole reason for me bringing out the writers identity and with you there is always this is India/BCCI thing .Cricinfo for a long time has been massively biased, clearly favouring the likes of the top 3.
