Quick question for the knowledgeable cricket folks in here

Is there anyway to find old ICC rankings for teams - say what did the team ranking chart look like in Jan 1996. I did a bit of Google digging but couldnt really find anything. Anyone know of any such gem

Iirc the ranking system was only introduced in '99 and Australia were the leading team then, with England at the foot of the table The ranking system was introduced by Wisden and not ICC. ICC started in 2003 and the Aussies were again at the top.

just happened to look at player ratings..
My God Yuvraj's odi rank is 78 !! I doubt his place in World Cup 2015..

despite the wrong doings he is at-least man enough to ownup to it.Also wish the punishment could have been lesser as that will encourage more lou vincent's to come out, there should be some difference for people that own up.Not every one is going to own up cause of guilty conscious, this step will mostly likely scare other players in same situation.

The guy is acting like a spoilt brat, and probably deserves the punishment. A clear case of success giving someone an inflated head. Some of the stories are ridiculous. Being abusive and undisciplined is one thing. Assault takes it to a whole new level

In the dressing room there was an incident. Our security team who brought that boy reported that Shakib had hit him. Shakib even told the manager and team-mates that he hit him. The board believes that this attitude of his won't work here

I agree, maybe 6 months is a bit much. But multiple occasions of assault is not a joke either. Unless BCB is lying about these, which might be possible given the way you are describing the situation

On the other hand, haven't seen any other BD players going through such ordeals. So again it makes one wonder if it really is just a Shakib issue.
