Financially the league and clubs are much more secure than their terribly run English counterparts. I can only see this league going from strength to strength in coming years.

Oh dear, looks like Bayern triggered G?tze's release clause...

The Bild isn't a very trustable source.

Oh no, seems like truth.

Guess Klopp was right. :p

Damn, Bayern will look even more indestructible now. Bundesliga might turn into a one-team league unless Dortmund get a solid enough replacement.

As long as their have Klopp, they should be there or thereabouts. They have a very good eye for a bargain and it will be interesting to see if they can unearth another gem or splash the cash to replace G?tze.

it's a great signing long term, though I wonder if guardiola was the best choice after watching tonight. do bayern really want to abandon the powerful, quick football they play in favour of the paced passing game guardiola favours now? tonight was like a changing of the guard.

sods up a lot of big teams transfer targets. lewandoski and gundogan are surely now going to be impossible to prise away.

Well, Lewandowski I think will be on his last year next season and unless they pitch a better offer at him, he won't sign... and letting him go on the free is just not on the cards.

"Go to hell Gotze!"
Yours sincerely, BVB fans

Haa damn. He better watch out next season when he returns to the Westfalenstadion. He could very well get a a violent reception like what Figo got when he left Barca for Real back in the days.

Bremen have parted company with Thomas Schaaf, quite sad to hear that. :(
