It was only Kazakstan but it was interesting to see Germany copied Spain's "false 9" tactic using Gotze & Reus in the role.

This team looks more & more dangerous everyday.

Yeah read an article on that which suggests they're using it least efficiently. The article says the most efficient way to utilizing a false nine is only through playing wide forwards in a 4-4-2 diamond.

Example: FC Barcelona

Villa----------------------------------Pedro
-----------------Messi--------------------
------Iniesta---------------Xavi------------
-----------------Busquets-----------------

Bayern are pretty bad at defending corners.

Hmm i see. I saw their second game vs Kazakstan, thought they used the false 9 formation well to be fair.

Dortmund have used G?tze in a similar role at times this season, so it's not completely alien to him.

Gotta feel for Kie?ling who has been a consistent goalscorer the past couple of seasons but doesn't get a look-in at international level.

The out and out number 9 is starting to become out of favour at international level, it seems.

Ye i by chance caught a bundesliga game on friday i think & Kiebling looked lively.

Its either Germany don't have faith in him to have him in the national squad or their strikers depth behind veteran Klose & Gomez is pretty average.

In the comments section-

M?ller has scored 18 goals and 14 assists, combined 32 - Ribery follows with 8 and 15, combined 23. 48% of his goals or assists this season have been leading goals or equalizers - 77% in a range up to a 2-goal-lead.

Wish Heynckes would stay for a year or two, he has done quite a good job.

There seems to be a lot of concern within Germany that their league(once unpredictable where anyone could win it, especially when Bayern have an off season) is indeed turning into the La Liga of sorts(Real/Barca domination) with how far ahead Bayern and Dortmund(oddly enough, the gap between the two in the league is bigger!) are compared to the rest of the clubs in the league.

IMO, the other clubs just have to spend the money they have/get better, while also looking to poach good young talent across the continent(like Dortmund have done) and the world.

Ofc, this has only been going on for about 3 years now(Dortmund finished 5th in 2010) and could thus totally be a knee-jerk reaction.

4 different champions in the last 5-6 years I believe?;)

I think what most of the German journos are getting at is how dominant Bayern and Dortmund(even when Dortmund have had a bit of a bad season) are within the league, and with Pep joining Bayern next season and Klopp's long distant future basically secured at Dortmund, they're worried that these 2 clubs will only take themselves forward and not the whole league.

That make sense?

Yes it does.
