Zurich all set for the match that matters

Both the captains practise hard on the eve of the Grand finale

The road to the finale

Antarctica have been the best side of the tournament so far. They won 7 of their Round Robin matches to top the group stages
and won the semifinal. Now they are in Zurich and they will be willing to continue their form

Tokyo had to break some sweat to enter the finale. The lost their very first match, the they won the second and third, courtesy to brilliant bowling.
Got into the playoffs by upsetting the Penguins' by one wicket and then a tie in the final group stage match.

Danger Men

Antarctica have reliesd on team performances rather than individual ones but they still have the players capable of winning the
match single handedly.
All their players have chipped in with the bat. However, Sangakkara will be the danger man, coming out after scoring a sublime 82 in the semis.
Jacob Oram and Faf du plessis have
really surprised the opponents with the ball when the mainstay bwolers didn't fire

Best Batsman: Kumar Sangakkara - 560 Runs @ 56.0 rpm
Best Bowler: Jacob Oram - 16 wickets @ 21 rpw

Tokyo's batsmen also like Antarctica have been consistent,
all the batsmen have chipped in with runs when the doctor ordered. But their top 3 i.e. Sehwag, Dilshan and Gayle have been reliable.
Tokyo's bowlers have been more or less devastating. Morne Morkel and Graeme Swann have been excellent
so far and Tokyo will be banking on the to produce the goods.

Best Batsman: Chris Gayle - 478 Runs @ 47.8 rpm
Best Bowler: Graeme Swann - 20 Wickets @ 23.7 rpw

Trivia
-If Tokyo win, they will be the first side to win the championship twice and that also back-to back
-This is the third time that the defending champion is in the finals. Season 2: Melbourne, Season 5: Auckland, Season 6: Tokyo
-This is the fifth time that Graeme is in the squad of the team that reached in the final, 2 times with Magyars and thrice with Tokyo
-If Antarctica win it will be the first time that the team on the top of the table will win the GPL cup

Callum Gray:- I believe that my team has everything to win this match. We topped the table, but past is past.
We need to win this one and I am confident that we will do it

Akshay Sharma:- Third uccesive time we have qualified in the finals, but we won it only once,
but it's to forget the history and concentrate on tomorrow's game.

Do you use notepad to write this stuff? I've found some faults in the alignments of lines and sentences, and that's the same what's happening to me while using notepad.

I'm hoping I can break my recent duck of not winning anything.
Three seconds in a row has really hurt. (Australian PL, Afrikan PL and Western PL)

The severe thrashing given by Taylor and du Plessis gave Tokyo
a target of 357 and with that it gave Sehwag many problems

So thats half time in Zurich. Taylor and Plessis have given a huge
target for Tokyo. Chasing 350+ in a final is very very tough. Can
Viru's men chase the huge target or will they fall behind. The answer
is hidden in the second innings of the match, so stay tuned

a very very very poor piece of bowling after taking their top 4 wickets quite conveniently.
Congrats Antartica.

A huge score on the board and Antartica shouldn't face any problems now. But, still can't say as it is Excellent Pitch.

And yet again amazing presentation Dipak. KIU! :clap

What a batting performance, we surely can't lose this from here.

Sangakkara and Ponting set a great platform, and that allowed Taylor and Faf to create some carnage.

With four specialist bowlers and Oram, we really should be able to finish the job off.

Great work Dipak as well. :thumbs
