Presentation Ceremony

Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the presentation after yet another thrilling season of GPL
. The league has improved with each season and this season was the best so far. This season
was full of fun, full of thrills and full of up's and down's. but in the end it was Antarctica Penguins
who held their nerve and won the cup after defeating Tokyo in the final. Firstly I would like to call
upon the captain of the runner up team, Virender Sehwag.

We have played amazing cricket over the last 3-4 weeks, but unfortunately we just couldn't win today.
We have really good players in the form of Swanny, Gayle, Mathews, Dilshan, Morne Morkel and myself.
We have a great squad and we worked like a team. Our aim was to play good cricket whether we won
or lost, it even paid off but unfortunately we were bundled by the better team in the match that mattered
. I would also like to specially thank the people of Tokyo who stayed up all night/got up early to see all our
matches and to give us so much support especially when we played there. Another guy I would like to
thank specially is out manager AkshayS who bounded us as a team. Sorry guys, we couldn't win it this
time but we will give it our best and try to win it in Season 7

Now I would like to call the victorious captain, Ricky Ponting to speak a few words with us

I am really delighted that we won this cup. As a team we always wanted to be the champions and today
the dream comes true. The players aspired it and won it with dedication and hardwork All the credit goes
to the players in the team, our manager Callum who worked immensely hard and gave us a lot of support
., Our fans of course, When we were in a tough situation, their cheers used to enlighten us and give us the
power to fight back. I dedicate this cup to all the followers who took holidays from their work, didn't sleep
just to cheer us up. Love the feeling. We topped the table and we knew that this was our season


Now I would request the league chairman, Dipak to hand the trophy to Ricky Ponting and his Penguins

So guys that's the end of another great season of GPL, Stay tuned for Season 7. Till then bye. Cheers
