Practice Session - Bangladesh & India

Bangladeshi team looked quite relaxed ahead of a crucial encounter against India. Their confidence must be high as they did show some maturity against Srilanka by reaching close to the target in the first match of the series.

Captain Shakib-Al-Hasan chilling out while having fun with the fellow team-mates. It will be interesting to see his tactics against India as he might be feeling the heat somewhat.

Mushfiqur Rahim said that Bangla can put up a fight if they get a solid start and have a typical end to their innings. However, dew factor was still playing through not only his but everyone's mind.

Coach Jamie Siddons with Mohd. Ashraful. He surely would have told Ashraful that he is a senior player in the team now and he should take up the responsibility of leading from the front. The ex-skipper did however struck form against Srilanka where he got a good fifty.

With Zaheer most probably being rested for this game, all eyes were on Sudeep Tyagi. All the team-mates along with the coach Gary Kirsten had a good luck at the young fast bowler. MS Dhoni would surely know a thing ot two about this young lad as he also plays for IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings which is lead by Dhoni.

Amit Mishra was seen practicing tough even though there was no news of him getting a chance in the playing XI. He did bowl well troubling the likes of Gambhir.

Let's see what these two sides have got in store for us. Bangladesh may well be written off right from the start but this young side can get back to you on their day. An exciting match heading our way...

: Thank you Sanjay! I'm looking forward to today's match after seeing Bangladesh put up a good show in the first ODI against Srilanka. Indians had a pretty comfortable victory against the Lankans, but today they might try to test out some youngsters.

: Bangladesh came really close in the first match and lost it by a whisker. A good point you mentioned there about India trying out a few youngsters. Who do you think should be tried here?

: Maybe all, Sanjay. This is the time for them to see the youngsters if they're planning already WC 2011. I will love to see Amit Mishra and Tyagi playing today in place of Harbhajan and Zaheer maybe.

: Well, we all think today we might see some changes in the Indian line-up. All depends on what team management and captain want. What about Bangladesh? What team they will play here?

: I was actually surprised that they didn't play Nafees and Ahmed in the first match. Today, I'm expecting Nafees to play in place of Imrul Kayes. Aftab Ahmed might also get in but then they might have to make someone sit out.
